  1. Is this definitely out of your price range? https://www.cabelas.com/product/fishing/rod-reel-combos/spinning-combos/pc/104793480/c/104762880/sc/105791580/bass-pro-combo-pq-spin/3193314.uts?slotId=0
  2. I love 6.3:1s. I've tried my 7.3:1 for spinnerbaits, swimbaits, cranks, but it's way too hard to crank.
  3. So he's Further North.
  4. You can't go wrong with Daiwa or Shimano. The fuego LT looks pretty nice.
  5. If there's a tree nearby you can lean the phone against it and put the camera on a three second delay; then just step back and hold the fish up and you'll get a good picture.
  6. $350 on that is a great deal. If you want the kayak then go for it.
  7. Zoom lizards, jigs, and big spinnerbaits (all fished slowly) seem to produce the most good sized bass for me. If you give the zoom lizards a try you won't be disappointed.
  8. Aaaand national peanut butter sales have gone up 54% since this was posted.
  9. I'll try, but I just finished my first algebra course (still fairly basic) so I can't promise that I'll be able to solve it if it's complicated (I'll do my best though) I can also try to ask my brother if I can't figure it out because he's doing precalculus right now and has a vast wealth of algebraic knowledge indeed. ?
  10. I have to agree with you. (haha sorry Catt ?)
  11. NO, IT'S TIME TO STOP.
  12. My SLX does cast light lures well. I was tossing a grub on a 1/10 ounce jighead pretty far the other day with it. The curado handles they put on it are also really nice. Though the Tournament MB gets great reviews too to be fair.
  13. I have the SLX and it's a great reel, but you can't go wrong with either. What are you planning to do with it?
  14. I probably would have kept the rod down but otherwise I don't see anything wrong with it.
  15. I would start with the Plopper because they seem to like topwater during rain but you can always switch to a jackhammer/lipless later on if they don't want a topwater. Good luck! Edit: Actually, I just read the part about the water temp. With it in the low 50's that actually sounds pretty cold for a topwater to me. A lipless (especially a red craw pattern) might be better.
  16. Football heads are designed to not get snagged in rocks. Ever tried one?
  17. You won't be disappointed. Good luck! ?
  18. Not unless you make them really mad. ? Sorry, I don't know much about lure making. (and sorry for the terrible jokes)
  19. I bought the SLX a couple months ago and it's a great reel. It's also veeery low profile.
  20. I probably would've ended up hooking the guy if I tried that. ?
  21. I would vote North Florida or Tennessee. We vacation in Seaside Florida every year and it's a really nice area.

  23. How much would you recommend for my situation? - I would mainly be anchoring in water 5~ feet deep but 10 feet is the deepest part of the lake.
