I use a crate in either kayak. I use the bag or backpack if I am going in a friends boat or my boat. You’re right, the OT TW 106 is built for 3600 under the seat.

I started with 3600 and have many of them. I am wondering if 3700 might be better due to capacity? I have 2 bags: cabelas advanced angler large and cabelas advanced angler 2 backpack. These 2 bags are 3600 sized. I use 3600 in my kayak crate too. I keep my lures in the boxes and add/remove based upon time of year or lake I’m fishing. Cabelas is having a sale on the waterproof 3700 boxes, been thinking about getting a half dozen of them. These can fit in any number of boat bags I have. Want to see what others are doing.

X2 on this! I have a few of these via the 6th Sense box. Great rod protectors and cost more than the mesh ones.

If you can find a Daiwa Tatula in the 7'1" heavy. Fantastic jig rod. I paid $99 for mine.

I also use them for transporting in my truck or taking them on a friends boat. I use rod wraps, then a spinning rod jacket over the rods (usually 3 rods can be combined and covered with spinning jacket).

I just now stumbled upon this new lure from 6th Sense: 6th Sense HyperJerk Finesse Jerkbait These look like they are similar to the Rapala X-rap Subwalk. Anybody have any?

That predator is sweet. I considered it. A little too big for me. I’m 5’8” 150. I wanted a smaller yak like the Jackson in my signature. It’s easy to move around by myself without slipping a disk. How long have you had it?

I recently purchased a Old Town Topwater PDL 106. I got it on BF for 10% off from Asutin Kayak. The PDL drive is fantastic. I have been in the kayak a few times and I am super happy with how it pedals, steers, and it's stable.

You might check out the Daiwa Tatula 150 with 5.4:1 ratio. It is my deep crankbait reel. I use it on a MH XT glass rod.
