  1. Ditto here - though I'd like to have the option of a standard aperture rather than the T-Wing. Reason I'm sticking with the Fuego for now.
  2. Of my seven rigs (one being put together) 2 are braid, 2 are mono and 3 are YZH. Even if you catch a LMB on the spinning with 4#, don't worry it too much. I've caught 2# LMBs on my UL rig which has 4# YZH when I use Ned-Rigs with it. Fun times.
  3. Just make sure the state allows that...it might be illegal to 'dump' trees into a lake/pond/reservoir/etc.
  4. If that had been made clear from the beginning, then I would have suggested the Lews myself. Not being clear on the reason those were the only options led to my suggesting a different reel.
  5. I'd go a little heavier. I run 10# Yo-Zuri on my Trion spinning reel and will be putting 12# Yo-Zuri on my new Fuego CT-H baitcaster. I'd also get a bottle of KVD Line & Lure treatment and regularly use it on the Yo-Zuri...really helps control the line-memory.
  6. Ya - put 24v into a 12v TM and lose the TM from overload. Series vs Parallel wiring. Do the lower one for two batteries now - if/when you upgrade to a 24v TM, then do the upper one. It's highly suggested that you get a second battery the same model as the first - just to make sure they're compatable.
  7. Sure - if I don't want to be able to work the TM...also I'll be adding another rod-rack to the starboard side since I now have 7 rigs with more in the planning stage.
  8. Mine holds six rods, but if I'm casting starboard-forward I have to be carefull
  9. Come on man, design some vertical rod storage where the rods never get in the way of casting.
  10. Great news, man!
  11. My first computer experience was in 1971-72 at the college prep school I attended for 7th grade. They had a minicomputer and 7 TTY terminals. I taught myself how to program it to do my math homework. Moving to Minnesota, all across the state were old Dec terminals in High-Schools and Colleges connected to the statewide MECC/MERITS system by 110-baud dial-up modems. Took computer programming in HS (1978 graduate) and college. Got my own PC in 1982 (Comodore-64) and have had a PC (or two or three) since.
  12. Coolness - filled in my Jerkbait selection and got a couple other things from my list including some Owner trebles.
  13. Another possible is some foam weatherstripping - padding with enough thickness to grip the rod-shafts.
  14. Without knowing why...it's hard to understand Especially when Abu and Pflueger are both owned by Pure Fishing - so at the end, they're the same company.
  15. Pflueger Trion - I have one and it's actually been a reliable workhorse. Right now, direct from Pflueger, you can get the 30 or 35 size for $20 http://www.pfluegerfishing.com/pflueger-reels-spinning-reels/pflueger-trion-spinning-reel/1313958.html#start=1
  16. Just going off this, you're running 10.75 amps - so you need 11amp-hours from either the dual purpose or the deep-cycle for every hour on the water. So a battery rated for 75AH would last you just under 7 hours powering those systems. Choose your capacity based on that.
  17. It's Tennessee, they won't be able to get through the roads blocked by traffic accidents.
  18. Get a Deep Cycle battery - large capacity - and put your TM, graphs, powerpole and livescope on that. Cranking batteries aren't designed for the constant drain that those items put on them.
  19. Santana - Black Magic Woman Red Hot Chili Peppers - Hump de Bump Beyonce' - Crazy in Love Ya, lots of extremely sad songs there. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7jWmihvNttd5PsDNzlp04e
  20. Nope - still no socks with the Crocs.
  21. Wish it was that warm
  22. We don't have cable or satellite either - even the antenna isn't hooked up. All our vid watching is via NetFlix discs. Though I'm getting to be an oldster (60 last month), I've been into computers since I was 12. I have a smart-phone, but basically all I do with it is phone-calls, texting and read e-books...and the occasional solitaire game.
  23. One day we'll teach you about this new technology that's been developed. It's called 'fire'.
