  1. Barlows Tackle sells Hildebrandt blades in gold and nickle that come in 4.5 size https://barlowstackle.com/spinner-blades-buzz-blades-and-others/indiana-tomahawk-kicker-and-chopper-blades/
  2. (whimpers) I've got a Tat-XT - MRB on my wishlist, and right now no money
  3. Considering the 1500 and 2000 weigh 8.5oz, the 2500 is 9.3oz and the 3000 is 10.8oz...I think it's more than just the spool. Full stats: https://www.daiwa.com/us/contents/reels/bg_sw_spinning/index.html
  4. I don't know about hook-n-line for smelt. Here in MN, there's no closed season, no limit, and most people use dip-nets. Seine nets are legal to use in certain places.
  5. They're illegal to use in MN at any time unless only one (1) of the arms has a hook...the rest have to be hookless.
  6. It was a little laggy earlier...but the past couple hours has seen it not error off and load pretty quickly. Hopefully, Glenn found the issue.
  7. Ya, we've only been talking about it for almost a week now. To OP - Glenn knows there's an issue and is working on fixing the problem...patience, young Padawan.
  8. Nov 6 report: LAKE MINNETONKA AREA The lakes were ice-free early this week, but there hasn’t been anybody fishing. Most sloughs or ponds are capped with ice, as are some small bays and shoreline ice was starting to form along wind-protected areas.
  9. Kidding - but I do follow contour maps too...just with the I-Boating app on my Android. Maps with GPS, I can set waypoints too. Record of my trip on 31 July where I caught the bass in my profile pic...black line shows my route that day. Tablet sits in the mount shown here on the right side.
  10. Errr - where are those options on my Hook 2-4 (it's not even the X with GPS).
  11. Meh - I'd take mine. Savage 775a - 12 ga semi-auto
  12. I toss 1/4oz spinners on my President BC rig: 7.3:1 on a MH/F rod. It's the same rig I toss 3/8 and 1/2 spinners on. Just takes setting the tension and brakes properly.
  13. After Saturday, we get the drop. I've already retired the canoe for the season and am starting on this winter's modifications...ya, I'm changing and adding some more things.
  14. As stated in the linked thread - Glenn IS working on it, but it's an intermittent problem and having been a network administrator in a past life...I KNOW that those are the hardest to track down. Be patient.
  15. Glenn knows about it and is working on it - there's another thread about this https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/221222-site-appears-real-slow/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-2495696
  16. It may take a while - these intermittent errors are the hardest to track down and fix...I'd give it several days if not a week or so.
  17. Back in my Air Force days there were several of us with 1st gen PCs. One guy had a Trash-80, another had an Apple-II and I had a Commodore-64. Those were the days of 300baud (.0003 meg) connection speeds. Fun fact - wife and I met in a chat-room on Quantum Link, both of us on C-64s...she was in FL I was in MN. This was 6 years before the internet. When Q-Link added the ability for Apples and IBMs to log in, they changed their name...to America Online.
  18. The one I got was this one.. https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200612542_200612542 $529 new.
  19. You're just crazy...period.
  20. That price was for new - you might be able to find a PWC trailer used for less. Just takes a few tools for drilling the new main-run - a transfer punch to mark the holes ($10 at Harbor Frieght), a 3/32 pilot drill-bit, a step-drill-bit and of course an electric drill (I used my Ryobi 18v cordless). Here's a pic of the original 5' main-piece and the drilled 10'. Clean the new steel well - I used 'The Works' followed by rubbing alcohol. Then a self-priming paint that was rated for metal.
  21. That's what I did for my canoe - got a 10' PWC trailer from Northern Tool for $500, paid $60 for a length of 2x3 tube steel to lengthen the main run and make it a 15' trailer. $20 for the front roller and it was done - yes, I did the drilling and painting myself.
  22. "You are what you eat." Could be any number of things, from bright colored crayfish to inhaling colored mud from eating from the bottom of the lake.
  23. When I was a Network-Admin, I HATED those intermittent errors. I feel your pain, boss.
  24. Ask him if yogurt and milk are okay - I get my fruits in smoothies my recipe 1 Medium banana 1 cup blueberries or raspberries 1 Yoplait Greek 100 Whip - vanilla cupcake flavor 1-1/2 cups milk Mix in blender - drink
  25. Thing is, it's JUST BR - the rest of the sites I visit haven't had this issue. Also, my Firefox error message has this line "The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified." Sounds like an SSL glitch somewhere - either on the server or during the transmit.
