  1. All I do with my B&S mulching mower is run it out of gas in the fall before storing it for the winter. In the spring, top off the oil reservoir, fill the tank and go.
  2. Don't know what year it is - but the 2012 Product Handbook states that the 225 Optimax has a max RPM of 5000-5750. https://www.mercurymarine.com/static/pdf/product-handbook/Mercury-Outboards-links.pdf
  3. Briggs and Stratton - my lawn-mower is going on 5 years with very little maintenance.
  4. My wife KNOWS I'm nuts...so there's that. Looks? Except for the power, all three of my BC rods are the same model. I will admit to changing them around in thought to decide which speed with which power...but always go back to the original setup.
  5. Hooks and weights out of the original packaging and into 2"x2" zip-top bags with part of the label from the original package. These get sorted into a Plano 3620, each compartment with a different type item - all my EWG hooks in one, Straight-shank worm hooks in another, bullet weights, egg weights, casting weights. Lets me pack quite a selection into one box. One compartment is left free for 'damp' items, and another compartment has a few silca-gel packs in it for rust-prevention. Packs get replaced as needed - 100 packs cost under $9 from Amazon.
  6. A&W all the way...I hate colas.
  7. "I am ashamed" Largemouth Northern Rainbow Bluegill Pumpkinseed That's it...
  8. Personally? Stick with Pflueger. Low end of your range will get you a Supreme-XT, Upper end yields a Patriarch.
  9. I'm tossing jerkbaits on my Trion spinning reel. At 25.9 IPT it's around a 6.2 to 6.4 BC depending on the spool size. So I guess that'd be my answer.
  10. Add to the fact that the 'high' from marijuana is from THC - which CBD oil contains almost none of. So the 'getting CBD oil to get high off of' claim falls by the wayside.
  11. I've moved to the 'Multifile Knoten' for all my tying needs. Simple and quick, seems strong enough for all my uses
  12. Google did some things with Blogger that made it a pain...maybe I'll put it back up under Wordpress but right now things are a bit hectic here.
  13. Well, there's your issue - FishBrain is like another social-media platform with the same initials - lots of negativity...which is why I left that other one years ago. I do now - but my sarcasm meter has been out of whack for a while so I take things literally too often.
  14. Not when there's so many people who actually think that the stuff that 'Skiffy' and the 'non-History Channel' put out is truth.
  15. SMH: "In the Animal Planet TV series River Monsters, Jeremy Wade shows a dramatization of a snakehead, "the fish from hell", stalking an unsuspecting baby and Chihuahua. With the help of a snakehead researcher, however, Wade shows that although it is capable of living outside of water and is able to move on land, its weak pectoral muscles make movement difficult and render the snakehead an unlikely "stalker" on land."
  16. I'd second the Fuego and put it on an Aird-X rod. Go through Amazon and you can get the pair for around $120-$130.
  17. Only questions are - Did you get the 6.3:1, 7.3:1 or 8.1:1 reel Length of rod Medium, Medium-Heavy or Heavy Where you're fishing will also determine the line - if you're going to be ripping lures through hydrilla and milfoil, I'd up that to 30# minimum. I'm also happy with Diawa - going to be replacing my Nitrous with either another Fuego or a CA-80
  18. Similar price on Amazon...which I trust WAY more than E-Bay.
  19. Definitely get a different rod if you're tossing 3/4 oz lures...which is only the lead weight BTW - add hook, skirt, trailer for the full weight. There's good rods out there that will handle the heavier lures at a decent price. I've been happy with my H/F Aird-X tossing my WP-110 (1 oz) and other heavier lures.
  20. I guess I live dangerously. Most of my finesse work is done on the ML rig...but I have put a Ned-rig on my UL. 2# LMB on 4# test on a UL is FUN.
  21. Okay - I just had to...
  22. I got my spinners/chatters/buzzbaits in a 3650. The large side divided in half with the buzz in one compartment and the spinners in the second. The smaller compartment areas have my chatters and my in-line spinners.
  23. As a matter of course, I unplug everything when hook up the charger. If it's needed, I don't know...just something I do.
  24. Found a pic of my old tackle-box with the Hellbender...and yes, I remember buying it with that name.
