  1. YES! Last thing you want is to be hit by some other boater because they can not see you. And wear your life vest. Canoes&night are a scary mixture.
  2. Regular plywood and seal it yourself with some poly.
  3. Agreed! Lowes or Home Depot for the outdoor rubber backed carpet!
  4. Sad indeed. At least wear it while the motor is on.
  5. you can even rent remote campsites on islands out on the lake for as little as $15 per night (last years prices) If your really hardcore. Throw all your supplies on the boat...motor to your camping spot.....set up camp......go fish. Heaven no? ;D
  6. smallmouth heaven! The place is rocky close to shore but makes for great smallmouth action. Chatterbaits and Xraps work great here. Trout also if you are into it. The area is a wildlife refuge (sp?) no more building around the lake. If you want peace and tranquility with great action and not crowded, this is the place. I try to go once per year me and the guys for our annual fishing trip.
  7. Lake Umbagog in Errol NH. You will NOT be disappointed. http://www.nhstateparks.com/um.html http://www.nhamcpaddlers.org/mem_trips/Umbagog_Aziscohos.htm http://camping.about.com/od/campgroundreviews/fr/ucpcgf80.htm
  8. Nothing like a full size 45 IMO.

    Congrats man!
  10. You will always wish you had more. I would save a few more $$$ and get the biggest you can.
  11. Awesome man! Thanks for the review. This is on my list.
  12. Used without a doubt. Just like a car man......Once it's off the lot you lose some serious coin. So many good deals on a brand new condition 1-2 year old boat. Just my .02
  13. Nice job with the wood so far! Gonna poly and carpet it?
  14. Here is a nice primer, hope it helps. http://www.flow-rite.com/files/flash/systembuilder.html
  15. Congrats on the new boat! Good luck with it!
  16. Makes me wonder if they glued the wood to the floor?
  17. Anyway of finding out how that floor is attached to the boat? Anywhere on the boat itself you can look under the wood?
  18. I am going have to agree to this. From the pictures it looks like you should remove all the wood and start over. A clean slate is easier to work from....If you have the time, tools and skill.
  19. Hi, I/We would need to see it first. Are you a bass fishing guy that wants a deck and trolling motor? Or do you just want a decent runabout to do a little fishing from?
  20. Jesus man, Sorry to hear it. :-[
  21. I have the MK110P. Great little charger. For sure stick with one that does 10 amps at least.
  22. I think the smallest deep cycle battery you can get is a Group 24.
