Creature Baits - Color Position?
I always go dark side up if I'm fishing in the northern hemisphere.

Post a photo a day!
Geez…. Really? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve seen in while. I worry about hitting kayakers where the their boat, life jacket, and cap are all the same color as the water. Swimmers? I don’t know how you’re supposed to avoid those fools.

Ultrex transducer choice for Lowrance Ti2 9”
I never used a Lowrance unit with my Ulrex that has US2. I would think 2D sonar would be the right choice and suspect there’s something wrong with your cable or transducer.

Thermocline
Yeah I had one of those and used it a lot. I don’t understand why no one makes anything like it anymore.

Good friends
Looks good. There is one thing you’re doing wrong. When you’re taking pictures to post here you need to set your fish finder so that is shows your GPS coordinates. ?

How many "Average Joe" bass anglers do you think are out there who could dominate the pros?
To make it in the pros you need 1) To be able to catch fish 2) You need to be be able to make ends meet which for most means finding and keeping sponsors. 3) You and your family need to be able and willing to handle the grind. I’m convinced there are many that can cut it with number 1 but can’t handle 2 or 3.

Thanks to my brother
Very sorry for your loss.

Question: Auto inflate life vests
It’s extremely rare that my boat goes airborne so I don’t worry about following FAA regulations. I strictly follow USCG regulations. ?

First impressions Kistler reels series 1 BC and Spinning reel
The first question I would ask is who actually makes the reel. Where is it made?

Long Nose Gar - Better hookups?
I’ve hooked many of them. I’ve never landed a single one. Their built in line cutter is very effective.

What problems are you having?

Rods
Yep but you think more highly of Googan and Favorite than I do. ?

Ultrex transducer choice for Lowrance Ti2 9”
You will need an adapter cable if your fish finder is compatible. Start here to find the cable you need to connect to US2. https://www.minnkotamotors.com/learn/technology/trolling-motors/universal-sonar-2

What Defines A Texas Rig ?
The Cream Pre-rigged worm as sold today. This is the Curly tail not the Scoundrel.

GIN clear
We don't have any Jin clear water around these parts.

What Defines A Texas Rig ?
The definition of a Texas Rig has been debated here before. I hope we can all agree to disagree. I'll just say that if you're fishing in my boat, you are welcome to fish a worm weedless and weightless but I will not tolerate someone trying to fish a Texas Rig without a bullet weight. It just ain't right.

Pond stocking question
When I was a kid I put out trot lines with my grandfather. We seined our ponds and the pond of neighbors for sunfish to use for bait. We caught countless snapping turtles in ponds that were full of fish. I would not worry about the turtles. If you remove the turtles more will find their way into the pond. The biggest problem you will face with bass is overpopulation. Maybe the turtles can help some with that.

Question about surface water circles
Sounds similar to crop circles so it must be aliens. ?

The Tennessee Handle
The only company I know of that still sells them is Slider Fishing which is Charlie Brewer’s old company that is still run by his family in Tennessee. Their rods are lite action and short the way Charlie liked them. https://sliderfishing.com There are plenty of custom builders that will make one for you. I’ve never owned one of these but I’ve heard good things about them. http://www.jmilescustomrods.com/Spinning-Rods.html
