Hank Parker was a sincerely, genuinely nice person that we talked to Saturday.

It’s all good. I overheard a pro saying that next year the Classic will be in Birmingham. If that’s so, I’ll take one or two of y’all out each day on the boat and I’ll get meals/meeting set up. I met @Glennbut I was easily distracted by all of the stuff going on and may have given off the cocaine addict vibe looking around while I was talking to him. I also met Bobby, but couldn’t go back up to his table and see him before I left. I saw @j bab but couldn’t get to talk to him. The Big Bites booth was swamped when I went by.

We just left Athens, looks like we’ll roll in to town around 9 and fight for a parking space.

Unfortunately no. I’m staying in Athens tonight. Should be pulling up in about 20 minutes.

What is the bag policy for the expo at the civic center? Can you take one in? I have a small cinch bag from my track coaching days last year.

Is there a cut today after weigh-ins?

The last coach I worked under said his grandparents lived in downtown Knoxville on the main drag and didn’t have running water or electricity. Now, that was back in the 30s. ?

Would any of the booths be giving out free stuff? I’m thinking about taking a small cinch bag with me just in case.

Frog Toggs are also an option. I believe they have a few different options for using lighter layers as zip in liners for colder weather. They also have lighter jackets and such for fishing in the warmer weather as well.

I think Strader, JLee, or A-A-Ron May end up on top.

What’s a good place to eat dinner around town?

I helped start up my university’s fishing team after I had to leave the football team due to being continuously injured. Our first “jerseys” were long sleeve Magellan button downs with our name and school logo ironed on. ? We eventually got one with our team logo and name screen printed on, but what is out there today is head and shoulders above what we scraped together. I don’t wear fishing jerseys but I do wear the long sleeve synthetic fishing shirts and a hooded version since I have rosacea and at an increased risk of skin cancer.

Neely-Henry Logan-Martin Lay Lake Mid-March will be wet, it usually is. Logan-Martin will still be at winter pool levels. There are a lot of fish in Logan-Martin. I’d probably go to Gadsden and fish Neely-Henry. Look at putting in at the highway 77 boat launch. Traditionally a better fishery. I don’t know much about Lay Lake, I see people posting pictures of big spots.
