@Crankin4Bass will do tonight as I have to resize them to fit forum file size limit ! I love my Catch 120s, the 100 isn't mine, yet... Might buy it as my GF prefer to paddle it over the 120. The Catch is light and stable but is bad in the wind and doesn't track perfect. See no reason to change for another paddle kayak, my next one will be a peddle drive.

Thanks, They are Pelican Catch 120s. The one on the roof is a Catch 100. For yours, look at the rear of the Jeep, the PVC/abs stuff is my load bar and it makes loading/unloading a breeze. I saw guys carrying their rods inside the yaks and some using rod tubes on racks when using a pickup truck. Can show you pictures of my ugly but functional load bar ?

I saw some new models that should ship end of July that were labeled Techna with full grips. There is a bunch of casting and spinning models ! Priced like the Aetos so it will either replace or complete it I'd guess. Anyone else noticed that ? I don't plan on getting any additional rods but sure look to get my hand on these once they're available in store, out of curiosity ?

Same here, it's a PFD that doubles as a fishing vest. It's warm and the only problem I had is the zips broke (on both) but I had them repaired with better qualify zippers and they are fine since then On a cheaper side, I read and heard good things about the Stearns Hybrid Fishing/Paddling Vest.

Almost the same here. Stays loaded from May to October. Ceiling rod rack is a blessing and was made with dollar store stuff though !

Kayak trailer really makes it easier when carrying multiple kayaks ! The tube on the yak was there to bring to a friend so he could make himself a second rod tube ! Designed and built the trailer last year and have no regrets. Saved a bunch of ? vs buying it and it is all welded instead of bolt together and around the same weight ! I tried J-cradles before and these are not working well with thicker recent fishing kayaks...

It does sure look good and well maintained! This Gen is one of their nicest looking IMHO.

My dad owns a 99 and still runs great and with more or less the same mileage than my Jeep's V6. These are reliable trucks ! Neat looking truck !

Gas is close to the equivalent of 4USD/gallon here. Having two vehicle is actually saving me money since I have at least 65 miles a day to drive and the small car is making close to 3 times the mileage.

Just to make things clear, my comment about most guys going fishing with their daily drivers wasn't negative at all. I am just a bit surprised !

Gas price south of the border also help making this happen I also wouldn't like to scratch/break anything more recent than my old Jeep Liberty. It has its fair share of trail to lake x scars ! My ceiling rack is made of a broom handle and bungees and it works beautifully as long as the rods are 7'3" or less

I was just wondering what is y'all fishing vehicles. I personnally use an old Jeep Liberty 2003. It has a ceiling rod rack and a load bar to help load my kayak on the roof rack. I put A/T tires as I often fish back country... It is also has a hitch so I can pull my yak trailer or the 12ft aluminium boat. What about yours ?

I don't have any readily accessible LMB water close by so I started with SMB a few years ago and this is what I am addicted to. All about jumps and fights... Still enjoy catching green lazy potatoes while fishing kayak tournaments though... I also began to enjoy pike fishing more lately. The only thing I never enjoyed catching is walleye. More often than not, it feels like you hooked a perch crossed with a tree branch...

Our club is human-propelled vessels only so canoes and even a rowboat would be allowed... Pelican just released their Catch 100 PWR which is very similar to the OP... They also released a Catch 110HD which I might fall for next Spring...

I would go with the SLX XT. I winded the SLX in different stores and I wasn't please with what I feel was a lack of smoothness... I know this is very subjective and far from real world test but that made me stay away from them. I also wasn't able to find the XG locally so it kind of put the last nail in the coffin. I might fall for an SLX XT XG in the near future though...
