You can rent a small boat or a bass boat out of Roland Martins in Clewiston. Fishing on the rim ditch bank is a waste of time IMHO.

You can leave your boat in Clewiston on Lake O, and live in West Palm Beach, or Ft Myers..etc. Just an hour or so drive. The area around Lake Kissimmee is nice too. Right now the best bass fishing is in Lake O, or the Kissimmee chain IMHO.

Yea..the spark plugs. That motor runs great but that is a serious issue. From what I have read on the Ford boards, if you dont remove them every 20K miles and coat the threads, they will get stuck because the electrode carbonizes beneath the thread making it impossible to remove without breaking them. The dealership or mechanic can supposedly remove them with a special tool if the plug breaks(probably an easy out), but there are no guarantees that the plug hole may get stripped requiring a helicoil, or head replacement. I got 117K on the plugs, and she runs good, so I will just cross my fingers. Once I address it, it is going to be painful All of that said, I am a ford guy and I love my truck.

Nice truck!. Regarding the tuning mods and exhaust, do they affect the engine/turbo warranty? I have a 05 Super Crew with the 5.4L and I asked the dealership about adding a chip right after I purchased it in 05..they said if you want to continue the engine warranty, don't do it. Nice exhaust note for a 6 banger, but I like the turbo whine better. Ford>Nissan

I agree with Bassin. No way I would ever send my kids there. Penn State's reputation has been ruined. They allowed a pedophile to assault kids and even gave him a place to commit the crimes for over 10 years. I believe the penalties should have been limited to Sandusky, the university administration, coaching faculty, and monetary penalties. Removing the scholarships just hurt the kids going forward. Why should they be punished? I am also not sure stripping the wins was appropriate, the players worked hard for those wins, yet Joe P gets to keep his coach of the year and other awards. It will take 20 years for the public to forget what happened at that school. I hope Sandusky get the Maximum penalty and plenty of years confined with other molesters, and those involved in a cover up in the administration get criminal charges.

The Miami Canal has been good to me in the past when the water has a north to south slight current. When it is ripping, not so good for me. I prefer the north side. It has some decent cover, minimal hydrilla, and wind break. My PB there is 6lbs. You should definitely check it out Shane.

Love the old Merc motors. I had a 57 Mercury MK20 (green paint) with the throttle on the tiller and a pull start. That motor was rock solid. I finally sold it in 1990. I wish I still had it. I used to rent a john boat out at Loxahatchee and mount the Merc. Very reliable. I would replace the throttle box ASAP. You can get by with it for now, but it is really an unsafe condition.
