  1. Dirty Jigs for football and structure jigs and Andy's Custom Bass Jigs for finesse jigs
  2. The line should just go straight through the guide.
  3. I would suggest the Daiwa Fuego ct for reel. St Croix Bass X rod For the techniques you listed i would suggest the 7'1" MH/F
  4. Not necessarily, both are excellent braking systems its just that with the I-dc5 system you have more adjust ability for different waited baits.
  5. Helps with line memory on some of the cheaper fluorocarbons but not so much high end fluorocarbon
  6. I have both the scorpion dc and the Curado dc. The Scorpion has more break settings with the I-dc 5 system (Three line modes one for mono, one for fluorocarbon, and one for braid. Then four settings based on lure wait and then auto.) The Curado Dc has the I-dc 4 system witch only has 4 settings (one for mono, one for fluorocarbon, one for braid, and than auto). The scorpion dc feels just like a Curado 200 I in the hand and in retrieve. The Curado Dc is a little more bulky feeling in the hand but not uncomfortable. The retrieve feels just like a curado K does. There is a spool size difference though with the Scorpion dc being a 100 and the Curado dc being a 150. Both are great reels but if i were to buy another dc reel in that price bracket I would go with another Scorpion dc do to having more brake settings.
  7. According to shimano japans website the SLX mgl will retail for 21000 jpy. With the current exchange rate that means it is $193 usd. After import and shipping it will be around $210-$230. Though the price may drop once it actually comes out.
  8. Sounds like a good alternative to drop shot weight. Thanks for the tip.
  9. This will be a gateway JDM reel worth getting. The SLX will probaly be about $230 dollars to import to the USA. There will also be a JDM Scorpion MGL (Pictured below) which will be around $300 to import. Though the prices may vary by seller when they come out.
  10. These baits have worked well for me is stained water. Clear water not so much.
