Fishfinder question(s)
What you get depends on 2 things: how you plan to use the stuff and how deep your pockets are. The unit itself will do most of what you want. However if you want to be able to mark waypoints from both positions in the boat and have them recorded on both units then you will have to be able to network them. It is my understanding that Eagles won't network. You would have to move to Lowrance for networking. Just something to think about.

Repowering Question, Estimated Hours of Labor?
If it is the same brand and all they had to do was unbolt, take the steering and electric stuff off and put on the other motor 2-3 hours should get it.

So Whats the Difference?????????
Those are the sizes of the reels with 1500 being the smallest. I have some 1000s, 2000s, and 2500s. The 2500s are my favorite for bass fishing. They will hold 10-12# mono with no problems. The smaller reels have smaller spools and can give you fits with anything over 8# line.

Quick braid question
I bought my wife a Shimano Stradic 2500 and put 30# Power Pro on it. I mounted it on a St Croix 6'6" MF Avid spinning rod. One day I fished with it and liked it so much that I bought the same setup for me. I use it exclusively for plastics.

Making hooks weedless
I have some stainless wire that I bought from Jann's that I use for other applications. It would probably work for you. Here are a couple of pics of ways I have used it.

Ramp Rules
You are so right about the campers, but they are a different breed than the ones who expect their wives or inexperienced buds to back the truck down the busy ramp while they have their butts parked in the boat and yell orders.

Ramp Rules
Your #4 around here is not a good thing. Our "can't launch/load" red necks don't want anyone to give them a hand and show that their manly way of doing stuff is wrong or can be improved.

Best Scales
I tried all the digitals I could buy and wound up taking all of them back because of inconsistant readings. I bought the Boga and haven't looked back.

Are all spinnerbaits created equal?
I make my own spinnerbaits and have for several years. What I have found is that the swivel is the key component. I always put the best ball bearing swivel that I can buy on a spinnerbait. Different blade configurations work on different days so several combinations are necessary. For me those two items are a lot more important than color.

boat business idea
Around here people with money either have their boats in docks in marinas or in storage close to the marinas. They just call ahead and say, "Put my boat in the water. I will be there at such and such a time to take it out".

GLUE
Yes that looks like the don't blow your house up kind that I used last time.

GLUE
I know of 2 kinds of contact cement that I have used for carpet. One is BLOWS YOUR HOUSE UP and the other doesn't have flamable fumes. I get them at a local carpet shop. If you are removing old carpet, lacquer thinner is the best stuff I have found.

Opinions on a used Tracker boat?
Eventhough the boat has seen little use, the depreciation clock has always been ticking. The asking price is at the top of what a dealership would use as a starter. You may want to look it up in the nada guides before you make the plunge.

Pet peave's that shouldn't be
Mine is word usage, people who don't know how to use your/you're and then/than just to name a couple.

Which is Cheaper? making lures or buying them?
It depends on how involved you get, where you start, how many you make, and how long you stick to it. Like stated the start up can be expensive. I started with one mold, 2 colors of plastic dye and 1 qt of plastisol. I had very little invested made some good baits and had a ball. When I dedided to try jigs, I borrowed a mold and a burner to melt the lead, bought 100 hooks and some living rubber and made up a bunch. When I dedided that was ok I bought my own stuff.

Which 2 stroke, carb, EFI, or DI? There is a world of difference right there.

Trolling motor shaft length
42" is pretty standard for bow mounts on mid sized glass boats.

Loomis question
I have 2 of them in the IMX and they get used a lot more than my 844c ever though about it.

Need advice on electronics?
Unless my brain skipped a beat, I think the 510 is sonar only. It won't show any wpts ever. You need to be looking at a 520 then you can network and get wpts to show on either unit.

Going to buy new tm, requesting advice
Motorguide TE 82 is a very good unit. I have over 7000 hours on one of them. I can dial it to hold in the wind or pull through it. I wouldn't have a 5 speed for love nor money.
