Yes your ff goes to one battery only. As for the 29 series batteries they should be worlds of juice. Do you know how many reserve amps (reserve capacity) they have?

Yes you will lose some sens but I doubt you will notice it. You can install a switch and have the best of both worlds with xducer in both places.

It all depends on your units. If they can't be networked and are Lowrance then there is a switch that allows both to run off one xducer but you have to switch them. If they are Lowrance and can be networked and etherneted then you can have both looking at the same xducer at the same time. I have 2 units and 3 xducers. I can have them looking at any of the three at the same time. One is primary and the other is slave.

That is the only color Power Pro that I have ever used. In really clear or shallow water I use a leader but I have only seen adverse effects in January and February here in MO without the leader.

The 27 series with give you about 15-25% more amp hours and reserve capacity than the same battery in a 24 series.

I must be a lucky guy then. I got 6 years out of my cranking battery on my 225 Optimax and it was still going strong when I gave it away and bought a new one.

DIs require more juice so get at least a 27 series cranking battery with at least 800 CCA. You don't need a dual purpose you need cranks.

A lot of guys with a 36v tmotor only use 3 batteries. You can do that if you have and EFI. If you have a DI then you need a cranking battery as the DIs need more juice to start them. As long as you get a crank with 800+ CCA and tmotor batteries with 200 reserve amps then you would not need more than 4 batteries unless you plan to spend more than 24 hours on the water with no trips to the bank.
