Lowe Or Tracker?
I have owned both and never plan to have a Tracker in my garage again.

Mercury Two Strokes
Electric start/Long shaft/ Power Trim/Oil injected a two stroke carb engine. I wouldn't buy a new one. EPA rulings are making them hard to use on many waters. EFIs aren't much better.

Mercury Two Strokes
When you talk 2 stroke do you mean carbs. If so that technology is slipping away and not even allowed on some waters. The electronic fuel injection 2 stroke motors are in somewhat of a decline because of fuel efficency. The direct injected 2 stroke engines are as fuel efficient as the 4 strokes and a lot lighter in weight. I think you will probably see the DI motors become the only 2 strokes available in a few years. I don't know about carbs and EFIs but the tech who looks after my DI says that I only have to run it to 4500 rpms to keep the carbon build up off.

Loomis GL3 verses St. Croix Avid Rods
I have a couple of GL3s and a couple of Avids. If I were getting rid of anything it would be the GL3s. The Avids are closer to the IMX series.

Fiberglass Boat & Transducer
Skimmers can be mounted inside the same as pucks. I had one for several years and only took it out last summer.

Best 12 volt Trolling Motor
I think you could do fine with a MG or MK. Choose the one you like the best. Buy the most # thrust you can get/afford. Then match it up with the largest reserve amp battery (185-200) that you can find in a 27 or 29 series.

rooster tail & tube bait
If you didn't get bit on the tube, then I'd say you were fishing in the wrong places.

night baits
X2 except with 3 guys in a boat, I'd not be throwing anything with treble hooks on the first outing.

You can use them any time you want. If you don't use them they will get so nasty you'll just wind up throwing them away like I did.

Which Avid to whom
Thanks RW. Due to an oversight on my part I have to make the decision tonight.

Which Avid to whom
I have 2 Avid spinning rods which I am giving as BD presents. They are both M. One is fast tip and one is extra fast. One guy is 23 the other guy is 43. Both are occasional fishermen. So considering age and reflex which rod would you give to which guy or would it matter.

trolling motor
I just got a Bass Pro flyer today. They have several tmotors on sale.

DieHard Marine
I don't use that brand but would offer some advice on batteries. Get the biggest series 24, 27,29, 31 that you and your budget can handle. Also get the most reserve amps in that series size.

Pro-Tec Tips?
It may be the oven. The heat in some ovens is quite high while getting to the desired temp setting. You might try pre heating the oven then putting the jigs in.

Shimano Spinning reel

Keel Guards
I wouldn't have a glass boat without one. They are not hard to install. You just have to be able to scratch your boat with a Scotch Brite pad.

When a fish wraps you around a tree/stump/brush
I jig and t-rig conservation brush piles which are 20 or more feet deep. I have lots of fish wrap around stuff. All I do is keep a tight line. Most of the time the fish will unwrap itself and move out of the brush.
