March 11th ice came off the lake the last few days and it’s going to 60 on the 10-11th I’ll go find at least one bass.

I agree with this I think you’ll be sinking money into a pit unless you get super lucky. I’d save and try to buy something much newer.

I really like my sparkly bass boat.

Absolutely it’s worth it.

I have both I have a complete one boat network with Humminbirds I run 3 Helix 10s 2 at the console one on the front deck. A Minnkota Ultrex and two Raptors. But I also run a Garmin 1222 for my FFS. I’m extremely happy with this set up. Im extremely happy with Humminbird Side images and lake master mapping. And I’m extremely happy with my Garmin LVS 34 Livescope.

I love throwing a black Muskie size jitterbug at night for bass.

You’ll be fairly close to the screen in the kayak I think you should be happy with the 9.

9” will work but honestly I’d get the biggest you can. I run a 12” strictly for livescope

I won’t get into brand but I run a 7’ med moderate for 110’s and the same rod in med- hvy for the +2 and other deep jerkbait’s.

Finally had a chance to go see the boat it looks great. Now the long wait for open water.

This is easy for me I would choose my dad and not even care if we zeroed every derby. Those memories are worth more then money to me. I didn’t have a father figure growing up to teach me anything. right now my tournament partner is my 14 year old son and as much as he wants to win it’s all about memories for me. We did place 3rd once last year and hopefully we will get a win this coming season.

I fish from the bank all the time if I only have a limited time I don’t bother with my boat.

My honest opinion is just buy the LVS 34 if you already have the garmin.

I run a 1222 and LVS 34 all day no problem with a 50 ah ionic lithium.

Take 1st in at least one of our clubs tournaments. Best we got last season was 3rd.

Yep either a 7’2 heavy bass pro crankin stick rated up to 2 oz this would be my choice for that weight. or a 7’10 mag heavy bass pro crankin stick rated up to 4 oz. Both about a hundred dollars on sale. I have about 5 of them for different applications.

That was plain ignorance on their part. I’m sorry but there is no excuse for that the only one I feel bad for is the dog.

Get the biggest screen you can for ffs. I run 3 Helix 10’s and a garmin 1222 and LVS 34 for FFS and maps only. There’s to many factors at play to tell you what to get. what’s the budget do you want to stay with all Humminbird?

I’ve been using the grass blade since 2014 on my bow mounts. I think it works great and I will always have one on my trolling motor.
