  1. I don’t know the weight of your baits but I use 20lb big game on my bigger jointed Swimbaits for example a 6” bullgill or bullshad.
  2. I wouldn’t use wood or aluminum I would use a composit material.
  3. A aluminum tracker is not a true bass boat to be honest with you. I’d just keep fishing out of your nice deep v before buying a new tracker. But that’s just my opinion
  4. That’s a good looking boat my buddy has a bay boat similar and really likes it. He fishes lake geneva often and he pulls it down to the keys and tarpon fishes.
  5. What style boat are you looking at?
  6. I’ve never had to sharpen mine after 6 years
  7. I’m going to be running two on the bow this season. 12” for livescope only. Helix 10 Mdi for everything else.
  8. I’m like one of those weekend bikers I dress the part but in actuality I’m more of a rubber mallet.
  9. This was the number one reason I sold my aluminum Lund that thing blew around so bad. I’m extremely happy with my new glass bass boat.
  10. Let me give you another thing to think about since you have all your electronics already . If you buy a new nitro Z18 it’s going to come with a trolling motor and electronics you can’t order it without them at least through BPS. I would price a Phoenix 819 with no electronics or trolling motor but pre wired for everything you need. Just to and see how close you are in price to a new factory rigged Z18. Plus you said you were a bigger guy & with Phoenix you have plenty of space behind the wheel. I’m sure you can order some other brands without the trolling motor and electronics as well but I’m partial to Phoenix I absolutely love my 819.
  11. You can sell your fortrex and then get something with a remote like the ultarra with power stow and deploy to make it easier for you. I use my remote much more than my pedal.
  12. Yes by style and weight.
  13. That’s awesome congratulations on the new boat.
  14. My boat stays in the garage year round. I have a 2 1/2,car attached heated garage my wife gets a spot for her car the boat gets the big side.
  15. Sure you can but a chrome blade is all I use.
  16. I had a nitro and a Lund not a bass boat and now a Phoenix. Out of what I have owned I’ll say Phoenix because I own one and I’m extremely happy with everything about it.
  17. Have you looked at triton allure ? https://www.tritonboats.com/fish-ski.html
  18. I seem to do best at 50-55 surface temperatures.
  19. Se wisconsin I’ve been catching some on spinnerbait’s jerkbait and lipless cranks.
  20. Holly crap Suzuki must be paying all the bills around here.
  21. The Heddon Zara gossa I believe it was called was a great sub surface walking bait.
  22. 6” Bill Shad & bull gill in slow sink are a must along with a g2 shellcracker. Glide bait I would stick with the s waver or jointed claw.
  23. I just took my rod tubes out of my 819 pro. Now I have all my rods in socks and I like it so much more.
  24. No I won’t be buying it.
  25. I really wanted one on my new Phoenix but was not a option with my dealer.
