  1. My dad got the Zebco Omega Pro and loves it. It is pretty smooth and casts far for a spincast.
  2. It looks like a pretty thick tail - all the soft baits I can think of with a tail like that go for $8+ per bait.
  3. My local shop had them so I got one to try...
  4. I don't know what it is and I haven't seen too many baits that size in that profile. I think that bait may be gangbusters on a chatterbait. I want some now....
  5. Lucky craft has spinnerbaits? Tungsten spinnerbaits? 3/4 oz though. I have those exact kvd pliers...and I am all out of bananas
  6. Let's just say the swimbait monkey got me good...I didn't get a Roman Made but I did get a...pics when I get them.
  7. Currently the monkey is appeased and anxiously waiting for the postman to deliver a bunch of baits next week... what did I do????
  8. Cheap, yet an enabler of buying. I think you are in cahoots with the bait monkey mafia boss..
  9. But imagine the Muskie you could catch!
  10. Shouldn't we have orange pumpkin? Green should be Cucumber. Maybe Zucchini?
  11. I watched a video on this bait and it swims terribly.
  12. I think I would stick with a small walking bait. Although, the bait monkey may come a knockin...
  13. @Smells like fish I am serious. I dont ever get hung up on colors. I have basically 3 colors - natural(browns, greens, blues), bright(whites, yellows) and dark (purple, black). I will oftentimes throw whole bunch if different colors in the same bag and just randomly grab out if the bag. People get way too hung up on colors.
  14. https://www.thehookuptackle.com/fishing-Japan+Tackle/Roman+Made/Mother+Chaser You may want to call your bank in advance to let them know you will have a huge amount going towards tackle. Also, at 22oz, you may need a new setup. Lol
  15. I have the 3000cxh and it is a great finesse reel. You can still get a LOT of 10# braid on that sucker but it will launch small baits very easily. I took the t-knob off and replaced it with a regular daiwa knob from one of my baitcast reels.
  16. And I can get 2 for the price of 1 g2... You sold me. I ordered 2.
  17. You think it is better than the shellcracker?
  18. I dont see why you couldn't use a split ring - that's what you do with a jika rig.
  19. I agree. When I was younger I used to fish a few swampy areas and creeks. I wore old shoes and would wade up to my waist. I didn't think anything of swimming out to unsnag a hook. At the end of the day I would have to pick off hundreds of little leeches sometimes - that was worse than swimming for a lure.
  20. Umm...I dove into 6 feet.of water to get a 3 dollar spinnerbait once. I really liked that one
  21. I could barely tell you the color of any baits I use - I just look at the bait and buy natural colored stuff. Greens, Blues, Browns and such
  22. I have a few of their speed demon pro rods - very nice rods for ~100 bucks. I got an assassin baitcaster - felt nice and cast very well but had problems pretty quickly. I was able to fix it on my own after dealing with their customer service that was 0 help. Never liked the reel though - it felt unrefined and cheap. I have a contron spinning reel I got on a black friday sale for 20 bucks and it has worked flawlessly. I recently received their new new speed demon elite and it feels very nice and works very well. Granted I have only used it a bit but so far I like it.
  23. When I was a young kid, my dad caught a 46" muskie on an UL while bluegill fishing. 6# trilene. He was reeling in s bluegill and the muskie inhaled it but the hook caught on the corner of the mouth somehow. Watching that was one of the things that really got me interested in muskie fishing...
  24. I would cry - That sucks.
