Jerkbaits on Livescope
Megabass makes a Vision 110+3 that gets down a ways. Why not use a countdown?

bought a few fishing licenses.
Each year I have, Pa(home state), NJ, NY, MD, VA and CT. Sometimes a random addition

High priced baits
Just paperclips hanging on pegs. I had to throw it together quickly. I had a third Pats but a blue heron stole that one. He flew up and got it wrapped up in a tree and managed to break free. I watched him fly off with it into the sunset...literally. lol I have had plenty of bullshads but I use Black Talons more.

High priced baits
You should see my bladed jig drawer. Last checked I had over He has a 9" thin shad that weighs less. You think a Spro 40 is big? Jeez. I consider it to be really small and near entry level stuff. You need to change uour mindset - a bass will happily eat something way bigger like a squirrel or a small muskrat. BGC has a 9" slim that weighs less. The biggest striper I have ever seen i had hooked on the 9". I had it next to my kayak and it was over 40" long. I didn't know what to do with it and it ended up coming unhooked.

What baits have quit producing for you?
The only baits that have stopped producing are the ones I quit throwing. Haven't thrown a spinnerbait in 2 years.

What is your price point of Diminishing Returns on rods and reels?
An Omega XH. Don't get me wrong, it's a great rod, but I don't prefer it.
-
So who got the new Ryoga?
I really want the 150 Ryoga for swimbaits.

What is your price point of Diminishing Returns on rods and reels?
$200ish for rods. I have a Legend Tournament Extreme for jigs but I prefer my Daiwa Tatula's. I had a Megabass destroyer for jigs and broke 2 of them when I first got them- one on the second cast broke into 3 pieces, the replacement broke into 3 pieces on the first hookset. I sold the 3rd one I got... I have a leviathan swimbait rod thats a $400 dollar rod - can't stand it and use my Tatula's and 6th sense rods that are sub $200. Reels - depends on the technique I guess but anything from $150-300. But I do have a daiwa zillion crazy cranker for deep cranking that I love.

Lol. Not out to win, just enjoy fishing big baits.

Need some help with crankbaits
You got all the good advice, the only thing I would add is, for cranking mid to deep a longer rod is really better. Longer casts = in the strike zone longer. With that being said, if you want to crank to 10 feet, I like to use a crank that will hit 12-15 so I can quickly get it down to my depth and start hitting bottom.

High priced baits
I recently did a seminar on big baits at a tackle store so I needed to put them on display. This is the only time they have ever been on a pegboard - I store them in a big plano box.

High priced baits
I have a bunch that are worth more than $275 but that's the most I have ever paid.

Red Jerbaits?
Lead wrapped around hooks for weight? If you have a predominant shad forage - the Savage Gear Shine Glide or Bucca Trick Shad for ABS. If you are looking at resin baits, a BGC 7" shad. If trout, fall fish or other soft bodied long baits are the forage, the Savage Gear scandal or the 6th Sense Draw for ABS baits. For Resin baits a BGC Trout - they come in a lot of sizes. If bluegill are your forage, there are a lot of wakes that I really like- Toxic Wade Hoggs comes in ABS or Resin and is a great bait. I use electrical solder around my hooks for quick weighting of baits. It doesn't take much.

KARASHI 80 ; ANYBODY GET ONE?
Yeah, for JDM drops you have to have all your payment and shipping info preloaded. Put in cart and quick fire order. These kinds of releases are not for people that think they may want to dabble or get 1 as part of an order.

Red Jerbaits?
Which is why the TK and Klash are all meh. They are adjustable wrenches when a socket wrench or in this case a specific bait will be better and more in tune with the specific thing I am trying to do. Depends on the situation but I mostly prefer resin baits, they throw better and perform better 90% of the time. Last year I caught more than 90 over 5 lbs in Pa.

Red Jerbaits?
I have to disagree - As a northern guy the TK is...awful. I haven't seen a DRT bait I would consider anything above mediocre.

Bassmasters Classic
It's looking pretty good so far but I will say, if BASS wanted to quell the FFS hate talk, this tournament is already proving to just fan the flames.
-
Lures you may never use ???
I am surprised so many say deep cranks. I love me some 10xd's! The only few baits I have that I rarely use are senkos - It's been 2 years since I used a plastic worm and I have 0 regrets.

Berkley Powerbait Gilly
One of my favorite baits. They want you to use the ringed wide gap hooks but just get Owner hooks with the twist locks and use those. I catch a ton of fish on the gillys.

‘26 BASS elite at guntersville
I think they may be referencing the water temps. It was only 37-38 when they started practicing... That's cold for those poor southern boys. Lol
-
‘26 BASS elite at guntersville
They aren't used to it being this cold. Most are saying they have never fished it this cold.

‘26 BASS elite at guntersville
I don't think we are going to get a century mark unless someone can really pull a special bag.
