Rage menace as a jig trailer
Anyone else just love using these guys as jig trailers? I feel like the fish bite a tad bit more when I use these instead of traditional craw trailers, maybe it's my neck of the woods but what about you guys? Do you throw the rage menace as a jig trailer a lot?

Best night of bass fishing this year so far with me catching a solid 2 and a bunch of other fish all on a texas tig ribbontail worm. The 2lber hit the culprit worm on the fall and I saw a flash dart out towards the bait lol.

Drop Shot Weights: Tear drop or pencil?
Cylinder I prefer overall because it's less snags.

If you had a time machine that could let you fish anywhere on earth at any time in history, when/where would you go?
The sunfish species as a whole has been around since the eocene period (50 million years ago to 30 million years) I would've definitely love to fish prehistoric American lakes and rivers during this time to see what the ancestors of the fish we have today were located and how to catch them. At least during this time period the dinosaurs were already extinct.

Fishing Alone
I personally prefer fishing alone but when the bite is slow I do enjoy the small talk, you get to know someone more when the bite is slow I noticed.

Was doing pretty well with the bass and crappie before this rain decided to cool everything down here in Jersey, also caught my first pickerel of the year today!

Bass with damaged lips
Over the past few seasons every so often I've caught a few bass with this style of lip where it looks damaged on the side like pic below, I always assumed that it was from being caught before but does a lip scar like this heal? Or will there always be deformed like that?

Pre thunderstorm bass fishing
Yeah like when I went during my outing that day the storm was maybe a mile out from the pond and I didn't leave until the dark clouds just started to roll over. Glad I did though because the winds caused a tree to fall near my bank I was fishing. Ripped the roots and everything. Also the rain was extremely heavy.

How to catch bass off bream beds
I'm from the north and I called them bream for the longest time, after watching a bunch of fishing shows from guys down south as a kid it kinda caught onto me. Now I just call them sunnies or sunfish.

Pre thunderstorm bass fishing
How do you guys do before a thunderstorm hits your area on the water? I'm talking like an hour or 2 all the way up to when it gets windy and the dark clouds appear, I've always heard the fish get extremely fired up before a storm hits but never believed it...until I caught 5 bass back to back last summer on a 5acre pond. it was pretty cool because you could see the clouds and lightning in the far distance but it was still blue skies over the lake. What about you guys? Do the bass bite more aggressively before a thunderstorm?

Went to the reservoir yesterday and managed to get this chunky guy protecting his fry, he didn't like my morning dawn roboworm anywhere near his bed site.

Berkley red flake color
Anyone have luck on the Berkly "Red flake" color for their soft plastics? I noticed at my stores they sell it a lot for the power worms like pic below, there's been times where they can easily be mistaken for the black n blue color because of the darkness of the red in low lights. Anyone have luck on this color?

Bite has finally kicked up, here's a few from my latest adventures, also I went crappie fishing tonight and after catching like 30 of them in the 6inch range and a few nicer slabs I managed to get one Largemouth on the crappie magnet and caught another on a topwater spook!

Windy conditions
Lipless cranks chatterbaits and if the water quality allows it a double willow spinnerbait, windy fishing is honestly my second best weather condition, first being partly cloudy with a slight breeze. bass can't identify things properly when the water is choppy so food instinct takes over.

Most consistent color
Second this. straight Black has become a staple in my arsenal the past year.

Bubblegum, chartruse, and pearl colored lures, anyone fish them?
Never had success on white colored soft plastics, morning dawn is a neat color though. definitely gonna try to throw it more. might even throw a morning dawn roboworm on a dropshot tomorrow when I fish my clear but weedy in some spots reservoir.

Chatterbait Help
Lol that's what i was thinking, I used to use Yum swimin dingers and it made my bait look much smaller, I had to trim most of the worm though.

Chatterbait Help
It seems I only have luck on either Black n blue or green pumpkin, but then again my water is stained to heavily stained.

Chatterbait Help
A-jay on the lakes you fish do you match the hatch with your bladed jigs? I'm guessing the yellow perch is the brown bass primary forage up there? I'm only asking because I've tried bluegill bladed jigs and never had any luck on them. Chatterbaits being too big is one of the problems I have on my 3acre pond, what would you consider to be a compact trailer to make the bait more smaller? The Zakos make the chatterbait pretty big IMO
