5.2 night fishing last weekend and I got her on Jackall Rerange 130 chrome and black.

Mybe you find it offensive about what I am going to say, but when I get back to fishing after divorce(she stoped me from fishing the we moved from Thailand for 9 years), I am living in heaven, I sleep with my tackle every night. I hold them and polished them every night in bed, hold them shake them to hear the noise, turning blades and check the hooks. Haha I was on shopping mood for a year and half, I got my tackle box stolen from back of my truck but my other box and bag pack was n home, so make story short, right now I have: 22 crank bait 6 jerk bait 2 glide bait 5 jig 3 lipless 2 chatter bait 2 frog 2 whopper 9 streamer(yes for bass fishing) 50 jig heads(swinging and normal) 23 bag of diffrent plastics and terminal tackle I cant count them they are so many. and rods only 6, 3 spining and 3 bait caster combos). I attach the picture of my to go box(not including my bag).

Guys, I am back and I got a very nice female with magnum 130 jerk bait. Hi, \Yes it is about trout, but I do bass fishing at side, coz I hear someone catch bass there, and last week I got a giant shad, so I was sure there is bass. that was very fun, going there next week again for overnight.

weightless Texas rig or use weight? if we use weight we need to peg it?

I for got to say moon is almost full and the lake is in southern california and weather report, half cloudy 49 to 75 at max.

Hello Everybody, It been three weeks that I stayed overnight in Santa Ana river lakes, the main fish target is trout in that lake and always people have good bag of that lake. during my first overnight that I was trout fishing, I found out some fisherman catch bass there, so next week in my overnight I start to bass fishing, except trout, I got giant shads and catfish and carp(on worm on Carolina rig). depending on moon phase and weather and water temp I tried everything but no success. is there anyone that have some tips for night bass fishing in this particular lake? ive attached the lake google map picture and sign my spot by red in it, if you have better idea to where to stay at night also please let me know. ive watch all video go glenn and read the very helpful articles in here and I have my buzz bait and spinner bait and 10" black worm and my white and black frogs(black one popping). also have plan to use glass bids in my soft plastic and frogs. I am open to any suggestion and I wish to have success on my next overnight which is tomorrow.

Oh man lucky you, I think we need to wait till march or April, please share pics and dimentions when you get them.

thats interesting that they put surgeon knot next FG knot. Thanks For information I improved tieing the Dodd knot and compare to another knot, is really smaller , just I really cant find any review on strength, I think I need to try it by myself, you can see the difference in both Dodd knot in picture, the one bullet shape and small is after few hours of practice. with respect to FG knot voters, I really cant do it, specially when you are out on bank or boat, so I am still between Alberto and Dodd and surge knot

Hey, currently have metanium 15 DC XG pair with shaula tour grade-4. I am thinking to get new combo of them since I am very happy with my own. I know shaula have new -5 that shown in Yakuma fishing show in 2020 and I know the models and my choice and I am waiting for it to hit the market, I am just confused about size of new metanium, is it smaller than older model? because I really love it to be smaller. please anyone have seen or touched or compare them , tell me about it. all other info about changing body and design and gear is very clear. lower one look more compact, and if you pay attention it is bullet shape to pass true guide easier on casting(same as Dodd knot). I am using 50 to 17 for sake of practice, but really im using 20lb braidmaxquatro and 16 shooter 100 on my everything combo(world shall and metanium), and 65 max and 16 fc shooter on my frog combo(set Croix XH and Revo Beast).

Follow by suggestion, I did surgeons knot, very easy to do, a bit not in shape, so I don't know how it feels passing the guides, how strong is it? is it failed you ever? over knot is surgeon knot, can say is smaller.

Yes I know it is old topic, but I am really getting crazy, everyone saying something, I am almost in point that I am going to buy same combo as I have and put straight flour, and other one straight braid. Please put the FG knot aside due to hard(almost impossible) way to tie. I got this few as best smaller profile: albright knot(in my idea slipped easy). dodd knot(In my idea is my best choice). GT knot( in my idea bulky) please someone help me which one stronger and more compact, or is there any other knot that I am missing? picture: Dodd knot (50lb braid 17lb Flouro).

Hey guys, I know for a fact, there is few 7lb plus large mouth (was caught by couple anglers) is in Hansen Dam lake park, very clear water small park lake with lots of limited hot spots(docks and brushes are off limit). I am visiting daily there for few hours and so far no success, just cached few 1 or 2lb. let me know if you are intrested to join for hunting this BEASTs.
