  3. I cant say anything but congrats and I am so happy for you. great job and good luck
  4. no they are not big, just use ultra light spinning combo with 2lb test and you are good to go.
  5. yes they are but privet lake so they stock very good size, I releasing smaller ones always and just keep this size. I bbq one for one meal.
  6. I always have one line storage mostly fluorocarbons that I use for leaders about four or five spools with me from 6lb test to 17lb test. and two braided spool 30lb and 40lb with me.
  7. You need to bring few with you and try, color of jig itself at most six colors, Pink, black, white, silver, gold and chartruse. for the minnow also the same or combination of any two of them. here some I have here in tackle box beside me. Remember color is important but most important is presentation, For that use 1/32oz jig and 2lb test line for best presentation. This is my catch last night all by jigging and drop shot.
  8. Here is my Conventional combo to send it out about 150 yards into ocean. The reel is International 30 which I was lucky to know very special person @WRB and I got this reel from Tom, Spooled with 130lb Braided line and 50ob test CXX for top shot. Paired with PCH 7'4" Rod. Thanks, First I am going to show the combos after than ill go to leaders and tackle.
  9. Thanks, of course, I need to get the hook remover(or build it), We going to get there soon after I am done with combos.
  10. Ok Ill start with my Combos for big shark fishing from beach and then Ill start about the tackle and leaders and lines. Ok my first combo is spinning, Rod is UglyStik 15' two piece rod, With Daiwa BG8000 reel which I spooled with 80lb test Braid and topping it with 50 yards of 50lb test CXX. I am using this combo for 1/2lb baits to send out about 150yards out from shore(using my RC Boat). Targeting 5' to 6' sharks(medium size). Here is the pictures of this combo, Ill add my first conventional combo in couple days than ill show the best in last.
  11. I never think they would do that, My only concern is if I want to put bigger than 2lb bait, The compartment cant fit the bigger that 2lb So need to hang it off of the hitch of the boat, so the boat will pull it and it will be hang by 12"leader and 16/0 hook during the way. Imagine if a seal decide to eat it . anyways ill try to never do that I think 1.5lb chunk of bait will do the job. I have two bait casting machines and 1 spinning outfit, First ill do 150 yards from shore for spinning 1/2lb bait, Second ill do 1lb bait for my smaller conventional combo drop it 200 yards from shore, And my king combo with 1.5lb bait and 250 yards from shore. Going to take pictures of my combos and leaders for big shark in new post for having everything documented for people that need basic info to start.
  12. If you can get the 7.6 one or two piece. I have 7.6 two piece and I really like it.
  13. I am with you there, Did you hear about Mojave ? Yeah thats where I do business and I am talking just go to office and back, My truck is covered with sand, and on roads for fishing and beside lakes a lot and I have birds there at night specially they sleep on trees and treat your vehicle as toilet and mud in rainy days. So what I remember my car was washed 3 times by car dealer when I send it for oil change. and it is one and half year and three times wash.
  14. I have read a lot and best thing they do is using kayak which is not safe at all. The good thing about this RC Boat can go 500 yards easy into the water and come back to release point automatically. I was waiting 6 months for it to build and cost me a lot, But it is worth, First ill not put myself in danger by going into water and second I can send heavy baits way into ocean.
  15. Ok so after waiting so long, Finally she is ready to be shipped. I am so exited and I wanted to share a picture with you guys. I am going to use this boat to send huge baits about 500 yards to ocean for catching sharks from the beach.I cant wait for it to get here.
  16. yes same thing happened to me and I received one email from TW which said they accept my order and they going to ship it to me
  17. I would do Curado DC, It is very nice and totally worth the money. I have it paired with my curado XH rod for top water or punching with 2oz weight for thick mats in California summer lakes.
