I change the hook with heavy wire hook and make my Shad Rap 5 heavy, Now it can be suspend and very very slow sink probobly.Also I can cast it farther.

that was so unprofessional of them that they did it that way, But honestly I think they were force to do that and make that sudden change. Is there anyone use them and in what condition is best to use it and how to use it and what will be best trailers for them?

I know for DC reels, you dont play with spool tension at all, but if you change the factory setting, you must always tight the spool tension to minimize the spool play(you shouldn't hear the knocking), once you do hat only thing is use the break depending on line you using, Braid fluorocarbon ir mono, Also if you want to do skipping you put the break all the way(4 or 5 depending on what kind od DC reel you have). about non DC I am doing spool tension and break to half(like my abs Toro Beast for heavy glides and swimbaits) usually and in some case I do 1/4 break(like on my 13 fishing Z Reel).

I just got shad5 and going to try it, I think I am going to get shad 7 as well both same craw color, I heard lots of possessive . going to change my leader to 8lb on spinning for that. lets see what will be the result.

Guys, Despite how much I love bait caster and using it, I cant deny how awful is bass fishing in winter for me with my only one spinning combo. Before that I only have dropshot on my spinning combo, sometimes nedrig, Even I powershot to avoid switching between nedrig and dropshot. In the winter is like I need at least five spinning setup: 1-Dropshot 2-Nedrig 3-smaller jerkbait 4-Balsa crank baits such as rap shad 5-wacky/neko that is too much, I own 6 main baitcasting combo and one spinning combo and they are already too much for me to carry to bank, what if I add four more spinning. Just wanted to share with you what I start to believe about spinning combos and how important they are. I was spending lots of time for rigging and changing last time I went fishing.

Guy's by new tears eve I went out and I did hardcore bass fishing, I cast about 500 times, I did try so many things to try to catch my last 2021 bass. I didn't happened. I know we all living in different part of country, Bur January is the coldest month of year for all of us. The question is what is you top 3 lures for the coldest month of year? My main BFS setup is 9lb test varivas line and it is very small diameter and I use that without leader and you are right, I catch a lot with that line.
