Best tips to keep your gear dry in your boat
If you have power at the dock your good with the dock fan. It will turn off by itself. I can’t remember the time frame. As for your cover I’m wondering why yours is plastic and why it doesn’t have vents. I’ve never have any moisture in mine. Keep in mind when not being used mine is in a garage. But it still sits out when on the road for days. I believe if you run your dock fan and let your gear dry off you may fix your problem. Good luck and keep us posted. I just checked your dock fan will run for 15 minutes then shut down for 30 minutes and keeps repeating the procedure until to turn the switch. So as long as your charger is plugged your good to go.

What year Skeeter ? All the boxes should have nice seals and a dock fan built in to circulate air threw all the compartments.

Shoulder Surgery
The one thing to keep in mind. On my first shoulder I went the route of cortisone shot and put it off. The Dr. said I did extensive damage. So if you do go that route baby that shoulder till you get it done.

Shoulder Surgery
As said by AJ second opinion. As for recovery Time it all depends on severity of damage and wether it’s open or arthroscopic surgery. I’ve had both done. First one was open with a lot of damage to rotator and labrum. 5 screws latter and they didn’t even start therapy for 6 weeks. Total time was 5 months. Then the other shoulder was arthroscopic with 3 screws. I believe therapy was 12 weeks. But then you must be very careful until it’s completely healed.

Hand warmers
I use rechargeable ones that last all day hunting. They say 15 hrs and that’s probably spot on. Different heat settings and also a low powered flashlight. I believe there approx. $35 to $40 I’ll have to check. I’ve been using them for 5 years with no issues.

Transducer placement, battery questions...
Not familiar with your boat so mounting I can’t help. As for battery I’m not a fan of using the same battery for TM and electronics. You can depending on your battery capabilities and how long you fish. The helix 8 I believe draws 2.4 amps. You need to see what your TM draws and then you’ll be able to see how long it will last. I personally would opt for a separate battery if space and budget is available.

Someone smarter than me....
I think you already mentioned the best advice for this. Just talk to a local tree service and have them at there convenience stop over with there bucket and do it. Most will do it on there own time for a few extra bucks. But as mentioned before don’t lean a ladder against it !!
