  1. Well at least you got out. More than I can say ?
  2. Good job young man. Hopefully some of the others will follow your example. ????
  3. Wading with UL on the Juniata river with a Rebel wee craw all the time. It’s a blast. Every SM feels like a 4lb. Rebel wee craw in 1/10 and 1/5 on 4lb. Trilene XL.
  4. As you can see what FrankN209 said above and WRB explained almost all of today’s bait casters would be good.
  5. Good job…
  6. Welcome aboard F1sh…
  7. I guess the first question I would ask is do you know how to read and interpret your graphs? Next would be are you familiar with finesse fishing? Drop shot,Ned rig, wacky etc etc. I would also start bringing you spinning setup along rigged for finesse. And I forgot welcome aboard….
  8. Great info.. thanks
  9. I’ve job.. a beauty…
  10. Good job for a slow day.?
  11. That’s called getting your priorities straight.. ????
  12. Kidda like a great mechanic that could fix you car first time every time but won’t learn how to use the new diagnostic machines. Time passing him by. He’s still a great mechanic but not on modern cars. We’ve seen it happen to a lot of different trades / skill sets. The older one gets the harder it is to adapt.
  13. Sounds like you did everything right. Hard hook set, lowered rod when surfacing and keep the pressure on. Hey at least you got a thrill on using a swim bait. “That’s fishing “
  14. The Evil Knievel of bass fishing… ???
  15. Everything above that has been mentioned is not just recommendations but necessities. Your wiring both to the TM and to connect batteries, batteries, breaker, plugs, charger and probably the most important is the knowledge to do it safely and proper. Good luck on your endeavor
  16. ?? to both of you..
  17. More than I care to remember. I also did a gorilla hook set and had a dink fly pass me and hit my partner in his head. I have admit I laughed my butt off.
  18. For smallmouth rocky edges along the main reservoir and creek mouths. Their main prey is crayfish so I would drop shot a cray or Ned rig a cray. Crank baits should work also. They also have largemouths in the reservoir. Hit some of the shallows with soft plastics on a T-rig. Good luck ?
  19. We always put in at Nelson’s fish camp. The river reminds you of being on the Amazon. Remote and quiet.
  20. Who helped clean up the mess that you left when you first saw him. ?
  21. Dang so it’s true. My mother in law did move to Nigeria. ??
  22. I remember many years ago just after we moved to Florida I was fishing the Oklawaha river. Fishing in a little cove I heard what I thought was someone trying to get his outboard started. It went on and on till I finally headed over to the next cove to see if I could help. To my surprise there was no one there. I sat there for a few minutes and then the noise started again and I saw the water vibrating. It was my first time seeing and hearing a bull gator growling and vibrating.
  23. I guess I’m boring. Either black or white.
