  1. I don’t have any experience with that feel. Is it backlash friendly? i mostly use metanium SC or steez SV or zillion SV because they’re pretty autopilot which i prefer
  2. is a steez ct sv underpowered for a XH rod?
  3. Yeah it is small. it is as small as the bfs Conquest. Do you think it’s a good reel for a regular MH casting rod?
  4. Case closed! 734 it is. Thank you!
  5. Thanks. if not a round reel, Would a metanium DC be fine for it? or a steez ct sv?
  6. i grabbed a 101 calcutta and it’s small!! i I haven’t really compared to the BFS but it looks like it’s as small as that or maybe even smaller Is the 100 size suitable for a 1-3 oz lures??
  7. What would be a good reel for a conquest 905? it can throw up to 3oz what would be a good reel. was thinking a metanium dc or a steez ct sv but maybe the steez isn’t big enough. looking for this to be a heavier but versatile rod.
  8. If 8 rods, then i’m thinking inwould want… 1) M spinning for for drop shot, weightless, other spinning applications - windbuster or NRX 872/Stella 2) M casting for reaction/topwater - poison adrena M+/ steez ct 3) MH casting for light texas rig, bottom stuff - NRX 893 with steez reel 4) MH casting for heavier reaction, chatter bait, swimbaits, crank etc - p5 Madbull/steez 5) H casting for jigs and heavier texas rig - NRX 894/metanium dc 6) XH casting for frog, punch / dobyns 765 7) extra slot 8) BFs setup for fun. poison adrena ML/conquest bfs How does that sound? Looking for techniques and pupo sea like Frog rod, and if you have the make and model then that would also be helpful
  9. I don’t think conquest get enought love they’re really versatile, lightweight strong. I think they’re hard to beat.
  10. What are the 5 you tend to carry?
  11. Now that I have my kayak, i went with the pro angler 12. I’m thinking of having either a 4 rod set up to cover a variety of techniques or 8 rods set up to cover a variety of techniques. flr those that fish from kayaks i’d love to hear what combos you bring Rod/reel/line you bring snd for what purpose(s) or technique(s).
  12. if we could get this back to Steez ags that would be appreciated. no worries, i understand completely but if we keep this on point - about steez ags rods that would be appreciated.
  13. Both. chatter bait spinner bait topwater, all of the above
  14. I asked that question not long ago and my conclusion was dobyns 736 glass not worth the premium for sensitivity, it’s more power and action and materials
  15. hmm.. so your opinion is the premium paid flr sensitivity doesn’t necessarily translate to versatility and value. in other words, the money spent on these rods for having great sensitivity isn’t really worth it given the wide range of uses, and potential applications where sensitivity isn’t the most important factor. however, the value may be in that they offer a wide range of uses and not the sensitivity. is that correct? if so, then are they versatile enough to justify the premium over other higher end brands like Megabass P5, dobyns xtasy, conquest etc
  16. I watched the video, love that guy and trust his experiences but that was the bottom contact rod. i’m more interested in more versatile rods like the medium, the heavy and the extra heavy rods for multi-purposes. What else would you all reccomend for a highly versatile but still extremely sensitive high end rod series?
  17. for a reaction rod, medium power for baits up to 1/2 maybe a little over? any thoughts?
  18. Really looking forward feedback on Steez AGS as head they are very sensitive but have mixed reviews as well just not much info out there on first hand experience
  19. hmm, so maybe not the best choice?? what attracted me to them is they seem to be very versatile, while still one of the most sensitive rods available. I love my NRXs but looking for some other rods that are still very very sensitive but more versatile
  20. how does the 100 size compare to the BFS?
  21. i’m trying to get an understanding of size and purpose
  22. I love my conquest bfs reel and so i was thinking of picking up a larger reel for “regular” bass fishing but i am confused about size i see there is a calcutta conquest 100 and 200 how do these compare in size to the bfs reel? which would be better to pair with a standard 7ft casting rod?
  23. anyone use a dedicated Kaitech/Paddletail rod? I was thinking of picking up a dobyns rod for just this purpose, so would love to hear which model
  24. still not much info on these but they seem to be up there in terms of sensitivity like second to NRX
