  1. The stupid ole Berkeley Flicker Shad for total fish caught. Largemouth only is probably a Senko, although I only use them as a “crack glass in case of a skunking” type of deal.
  2. BX Brat in the Haymaker color is money in clear water. Dig that sucker in the rip rap.
  3. Look into Terminator’s 2.5 inch Frog. I’ve had success with it. There’s also the Pad Crasher Jr.
  4. I have a 6th Sense Speed Wake, Storm’s newer Arashi wake (not good), a Spro BBZ Rat, and a Strike King version. I’ve caught exactly ZERO fish on them. Don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or what. I have had a few blow-ups on the rat, but they missed it.
  5. For those of you worried about spooking dock fish.
  6. That movement from 6th sense has been very successful the last couple weeks for me. I would advise checking it out.
  7. Keitech Crazy Flapper Xcite Maximus Worm Netbait T-Mac Keitech Fat Swing Impact 3.8 6th Sense Ridge Worm Yamamoto Senko 5” Berkeley Powerbait Mantis Rage Menace B-fish-N Authenx Moxi Z-Man baby goat - (new and awesome)
  8. To you guys saying its easy to put split rings on the torpedo, have you actually tried to do it? Its a major pain in the rear, as the connectors are fat and close to the body of the lure. It can be done, but you have to get the split ring size right. too small or too big and it isn't happening. I tried this and I wished I hadn't messed it after the process.
  9. Shallow - Been killing it with a Rapala Brat in Haymaker. Medium - Spro Rk Crawler - Missouri Craw color. Deep - Tie between a 6XD Shad color and 6th Sense Cloud 9 C15 in Wild Shad.
  10. 6th Sense Divine Shakey Worm and their Ridge Worm are awesome. I’ve caught multiples over 3lb. with both. Netbait T MAC are awesome too. Love the bama bug color. Zoom trick worms work too, but I’ve had less success vs those others.
  11. I’ve never had a largemouth hit my plopper. I’ve had a couple short strikes. But the River smallies in Missouri blast it.
  12. I also got a speed wake and a Vega frog. Tested them out last night, speed wake I noticed you have to raise your rod tip to get that good v pattern wake. Medium retrieve seemed best. No bites. Vega frog seemed fairly easy to walk/pop. Good spit sound. Pulled it across a laydown, and got one to blow up on it. Only strike I had in my hour of fishing. It was fun though.
  13. These guys are annoying, and it's a marketing video so take it with a grain of salt, but you'll get the gist. They rip them with this frog.
  14. I would think put that on a swimbait jig head to get it down to those fish.
  15. I went for it. Ordered one today. Hope to have it ready for the fall jerkbait bite. Thanks for the reply. That Orochi looks sweet. Going to have to save up for that one. Thanks for the info.
  16. Hi all I am wanting a rod for shallow and medium depth cranking and something that I can throw jerkbaits with. I am leaning towards trying to find a Shimano Expride 6’10” M. I know lots of folks say it’s a great jerkbait rod, but Like I said, don’t want to own two separate rods for jerkbaits and cranking. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your advice.
  17. Same here. My kiddo had a pretty big camo backpack from school he didn’t use anymore. I can fit 3 3700’s and as many bags of plastics I’d ever need.
  18. These catch me fish every time. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Keitech_Crazy_Flapper/descpage-KEIXZFL.html
