  1. Just curious, did you get your census forms yet? And if you did, are you answering all the questions, specifically name and birth date of your children. Just asking.
  2. Apparently put on earth so we can see just how far human skin can stretch.
  3. 26, messed up on the amendment and the last amendment. Didn't remember it was that recent. Almost put Ike down for being born is TX, but didn't. Impeachment question got me too.
  4. I just picked up another pack of 6" white Slug-gos today. I have a big variety of them. The key to fishing them, you have to let the fish have it for a count of 2 and set the hook on 3. I'd like to try some of the 9" but I can only find them in rainbow. Don't know where I'd get any replacement hooks either.
  5. Actually, my most successful color has been the chartreuse with copper, black, and green flake. #327 firetiger, 4". Not easy to find. There is another close color #169, but it doesn't have the copper flake.
  6. R.I.P. Mine says 84. Probably longer than I'll want to.
  7. X2... Anybody else is just a distant wannabe.
  8. If you use this, does it clear out any passwords, etc. that are saved for sites like this one or online banking, etc.? I don't want to have to go through the hassles of re-entering all that stuff.
  9. So does my daughter.
  10. Yep, it was or is still made by Lane Ltd, who made many of the bulk tobaccos I used to sell. Their 1-Q was very similar and my top seller.
  11. Find a pipe/cigar store near you and try some of their bulk tobaccos. They should be able to steer you toward something suitable. Flavored tobaccos generally are fairly mild but will tend to leave more residue in your pipe. Experiment!
  12. I decided to try and embrace winter instead of fighting it and bought a pair of snowshoes a year ago. Since I did that, our snow has been below average. Try it, it works!! That's one of those laws, isn't it. Like, if you are waiting for the phone to ring, just go to the bathroom. ;D
  13. Follow the Money!
  14. My son has the 8' version. Works well
  15. Their roast beef sandwiches starting shrinking years ago. i remember when they had the beef hanging up, and you could see it. then they'd pile that sandwich so high with beef, you'd have to mash it down to take a bite. I only go there if and when the sandwiches are 99 cents. Fries, overpriced, the rest of their sandwiches, way overpriced. BTW, Mickey D's angus burger, I've tried it a couple of times. Dried out and tasteless.
  16. Dunkin'Donuts I actually prefer glazed donuts from Wal Mart bakery over D.D. Coffee? I'll brew my own thank you.
  17. Well, so far everyone who has posted has not used an x-factor rod. I'm gathering that the consensus of opinion is that they appear to be overpriced or one is better off staying with a known brand/quality for about the same, or less, money. Still, no one has actually fished with one, which of course, is the only way to find out how they actually perform. Eventually, some reviews will come out.
  18. That last video is funny but raises an interesting question. What would you do? Would you comply like they did or tell 'em buzz off?
  19. What's a Vendetta? I thought they were a little pricey as well, but might be worth it. I don't currently own any rods quite that expensive. A couple of St Croixs & Fenwicks are my best rods. I'm not strictly equating price with quality and I know there are rods that are much more expensive than $149. I'm just wondering if they are really worth that or if its an understated bargain at that price. I have a Gander Mtn. Tournament Pike rod that was supposed to sell for $99. I waited for a good sale and got it a lot cheaper. Beautiful rod! Very light and responsive. Some GM stuff seems very good.
  20. I stopped at my local Gander Mtn. today and saw they have a new line of their branded rods. Called the x-factor. Very nice looking rod, nice details, split foam grips. Seemed like very light and well balanced rods. price was 149.95 also has a lifetime warranty. Does anybody know anything about these rods? A Google of x-factor rods also turns up Okuma.
  21. C'mon guys. Don't sugar coat it. tell us what you really think about Reaction Strike.
