Are the O"s coming back down to earth? Orioles have 3 rookies biding their time in the minors that are available to be called up. They are Cowser, Westburg and Ortiz. They are the orioles future, need to find out if the guys can play in the majors. With the players we have now we arnt going to win much down the road.

Well we ate it tonite along with the walleye. Wife cut out the red parts, it tasted fine. It actually tasted like a largemouth which we dont eat anymore. Compared to the walleye the white bass has firmer texture while the walleye is more fluffy like.

@T-Billy Wife fileted them at the river last night. We asked another guy fishing there if they were good eating and he googled it and thats how we found out about the red meat areas tasting quite fishy. Will eat them tonight.

And then i went fishing to the same areas, fished his landmarks and caught fish from the bank and wading.

He has been to all the dams in and around fergus falls minn which controll the ottertail river. Thats how I discovered all the dams in fergus falls was first from his smallmouth videos. Then i googled dams on the ottertail in fergus falls area and found a tourist brouchere about all the great canoeing and fishing on the ottertail river trail. I went to google maps and took the gps cordinates of all the dams and the gps did the rest.

Wife and I went fishin monday to a dam in ND. We brought minnows and gulp live minners. We caught a handfull of small walleye and kept 2 of them. The smallies were small and the relentless catfish were devouring the live minnows so we put on the gulp live and they were just as crazy for them. Also caught 2 white bass on minnows. Have any of you kept white bass to eat? I read on the innerweb that there is a mucus by the spine you need to avoid along with having to cut out the red parts of the meat as it has a bad taste. I threw everything i had in my tackle box and couldnt catch but 2 walleye on a rattletrap and caught numerous catfish on square bills.

I dont know if i ever mentioned this but in 2021 i was at a big auction in north dakota and this auction had tons of full tackle boxes, rods, reels. I had my eyes and my mind set on bidding on this one big multiple tray box loaded with lures. I had to wait 3 hours before the auctioneer got to the fishing gear. Well i had some competion from yep, the yak man. He was buying anything that could be used for fishing right as the auction began such as back packs, storage containers... When it came time for the fishing gear the boxes were first and it was me and him as others dropped out. He kept upping the bid and he was not leaving without that box as it was the best one there. I knew he wasnt gonna stop so i dropped out and he won the bid and cleaned up on the other gear.

I had to repair a mimic minnow today and used gorilla super glue to mend the plastic around the hook. Glued it and 3 minutes later i was fishing with it and it held up great.

Soft Sole inserts, have a pair for every shoe i own. I wear hunting boots, waders and Asics shoes. I take out the manufacturers insole and put Soft Soles in each pair including my waders. Been doing this for 18 years after i had planter faciatis. Memorial day went bass and crappie fishin in minnesota. Caught a handfull of 1-2 lb bass on the lizzard texas rigged. This other guy caught this strange lookin fish we both never seen before. I looked it up and it looks to be a Bowfin? if not that than its a burbot but it shouldnt be because they burbot like deep cool water and this was caught in 3 feet close to shore unless it was spawning?

@Obee 7 days after surgery i was in therapy doing unweighted stretching exercises with the repaired elbow and week 3 i was doing exercises with a water bottle and progressed on my own from there. Its was very painfull as all heck after surgery having arm in a sling and when starting stretching therapy but its part of the recovery and i dont mind pain as long as i know it leads to recovery. Top priority is to keep it moving after the first week to get blood flow to it as the elbow tendon recieves very little natural bloodflow. I was back to wrenching in 30 days but of course i was cautious to not push it untill i felt it was strong enough and before long i just naturally started to forget about it and to this day my elbow is 100%.

I had golfers elbow and tennis elbow in my right dominate elbow. The golphers elbow was so bad i could not open the twist door to my apartment in 2008. I had surgery for it in 2008, the tendon was torn and had to be reattached. Recovery time was 2 weeks out of work as a mechanic with therapy for 2 weeks then back to work on light duty for 2 weeks then back to work as normal. The same elbow i had tennis elbow at its worst in 2016, i could not butter a piece of toast without pain. So surgery again, same routine as before to reattach tendon. I was retired at this time and living in the philippines and had to come back to the USA to get the surgery.
