  1. So go bare wire to an Anderson clip permanently placed in those two plugs? I’m not a savage. Alligator clips?
  2. My old Nocqua batteries are dying. They didn’t last that long. 1.5 years maybe. They both only charge fully to 12v. I’m over it. thinking of going with the DL box. Can I wire my fish finder to and old cigarette lighter plug and simply plug it in? Or use those two prong locations?
  3. there is a youtuber that got her million subscribers fishing off a SUP.
  4. i get braid installed on my reels. they just do it so solid. better than i can. i am not joking when i ask for braid, i tell them poundage and color. hahahha.. either dark green or white.
  5. keep in mind i dont know jack squat about boats. but call me crazy. i think i like it. i know a guy with a Hobie Proangler with that same price tag with accessories. with a spot lock trolling motor, it would be awesome. give it time and some New Zealander will put a 50 hp motor and it and start a race series.
  6. SUP's are stable!! i do have a friend that is going to try to bowfish carp from his daughters SUP. sounds like a blast. i can try from my kayak, standing up is no problem.

  9. i think it is very popular in Florida? the canals and stuff. i am flirting with death and wetness in my kayak. i need tiny walls
  10. hahaha...i think you got that right!! all i know is that it is about a train.
  11. i like it quiet. however. one time, heading deep deep into a skunk city. a boat full of buxum beauties came by BLARING music. they were playing City of New Orleans, by Willie Nelson. talk about a jolt of energy. we stood up straighter, eyes brighter, pedaled our kayaks with purpose, casted more accurately and finished that skunk with enthusiasm. i still like it quiet.
  12. I have a few lakes with Spotted bass, Small mouth bass and Largemouth bass. I'm not a good enough fisherman to note if one type is dominating the population. is one a better survivor that the others? one that will eventually over take the lake?
  13. good group of members here!! there are some forums a quote like that would be akin to throwing down a gauntlet. thems fighting words. life is odd and interesting. there is truly an arss for every seat. I hope to exit stage left happy and at peace. that is at least the plan. fishing is fridge awesome. most of it is because it is mostly challenges and rewards. digging it!!
  14. dood!!! i was mid coffee drink!!! hahaha..
  15. dang. great ideas. i think texas rigged weightless throwns into emergent grass would be killer. they gotta weigh similar to a 5" senko which flings like a bullet.
  16. I bought a bunch. Typical of me. ZERO BITES! I’ve been Texas rigging them. Pegged and unpegged. No luck. maybe rig them on a football jig head w weed guard? Help. Please. Getting ready for better weather. And spring. What about weightless Texas rigged?!
  17. to close this out. i did get the Dragoon. i think it would actually be a decent impromtu A-rig rod. i can fling a 3/8th practice plug pretty easily, so i cant wait to try it out on a real fish. nicest travel rod i have. the parts just fit together nicely. i have an Okuma that will send the tip into the lake on occasion. this one locks together tight.
  18. there should be a $ in front of that number. no..a $$. hhaha. i actually like the numbers on these rods. pretty fun to decode. like a Dobyns.
  19. gah...i almost wished this worked. hahahha...
  20. i have the light. i use the most needle like hooks i can. i also tex rig my worms, so they have to penetrate that first. with the thin wire hooks, i havent noticed a problem. i'm using 8lb flouro..
  21. it's also daylight hours right? as days get longer, love is in the air?
  22. whoa. you make a lot of sense. THANKS next big rain it tomorrow and it goes into a smaller event for the next 4 days. we might get a lot closer. thanks CBF.
  23. i do it all wrong. i texas rig them. pegged weight. i dont have a lot of rods. i like sliding the peg up, and putting on a worm. makes for a quick bait/presentation change.
