  1. I have been sick a couple of times this fall and winter. I took the day and night time nyquil and that made me feel better. It sucks walking around the house with tissue stuck up your nose. My nose would not stop running. Now my wife make me take 2 different supplements; aged garlic one , and seasonal support. I do feel better now, and I think that those two supplements help. I had the flu mist shot a couple of months ago, that thing made me sick to. M_Fields
  2. I liked the last picture, that is a nice sunset. M_Fields
  3. That is funny, I would say 9 or 10 M_Fields
  4. jwo1124, Ask some friends at school if they have any family or friends with house boats and get with them. I for one would only have one if it was a weekend or a holiday thing. That is to small living for me. I would also stay in school. I am 33, work full time and I am still in school. It is so hard. I was in a hurry to grow up, so I decided to go into the Army. But I also knew that I was not mature enough to go to College after high school and I could not afford it either. Finish your schooling up, then go get a house boat or anything else you want. Take it easy. M_Fields
  5. Shenanigans, Welcome to the forum. There are some Army guys here so you will feel right at home. Currently I am at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. Post some of those Delta hogs. M_Fields

Welcome, Enjoy the forum ;D. M_Fields
  7. Thanks guys, Just trying to dig up some info. I will most likely hold off one more year, but we will see. This coming year I plan on only fishing as a Co-Angler in the Ozark division. So I will be riding in some different boats. I do want a 20' boat with at least 225. I currently have a 1999 Skeeter ZXc 185 with a 150 Yamaha dual prop. There is nothing wrong with it, I just need a little bit more elbow room. I will most likely buy a pro staff boat or something along those lines, I do not want to spend full retail or anything close. Living on a Army budget, I need to spend my money wisely. What is your opinion on a Z-9? M_Fields
  8. Chris at Tech, I would go to the expo for sure. M_Fields
  9. I have been looking at upgrading my boat for some time now. I have been looking at Ranger and Skeeter. I was on the Ranger site, followed the link to Evenrude, I would think the boat should go faster than 73. Does any one own the Z520 or know someone that does? I would like to know what their opinions are. I also think that the I class is slow compared to the ZX series. I would like more real information on the Z520. M_Fields
  10. I would hate to keep jumping in the back of or climbing in that truck. Especially if you forgot something. I think that would get old real fast. It's got to be more of a WOW factor than anything. M_Fields
  11. Triton9, Nice fish, they look real healthy too. M_Fields
  12. 67Ghost, Welcome and enjoy. M_Fields
  13. Boett43, It is all a personal preference, go with what you have confidence in. M_Fields
  14. YJsmitty, For me, it depends on the rod that you are talking about. For the rod you talking about I would go with th IMX or the GLX. If you are going to be using a lot of braid, I would go with the GLX. M_Fields

So close to that 10lb. mark! Nice, solid fish. M_Fields
  16. Nice fish for sure!!! M_Fields
  17. I am not a big fan. But when people get hurt, I kind of feel that it is funny. Not seriously hurt though. I'm I wrong for that? I really liked the skit when they locked those guys in the limo with the bee's, then let them out with those marbles on the ground. Now I thought that was the funniest. My stomach hurts just thinking about that one. M_Fields
  18. ww2farmer, We are all kids at heart, it keeps us young. Nice set of rods, now get some reels, and release the monkey. My wife says thank you for keeping him at your house over Christmas. M_Fields
  19. Lee H, Nice catch. I will take it anyday. M_Fields

Avid, Nice fish. Looks like you had a good time. Nice pictures anyway. M_Fields
  21. Welcome to the forum!! I am sure someone will chime in on some good deals. Their should be some good after Christmas sales. M_Fields
  22. The other day I went the Bass Pro Shop in Springfield. Well the monkey jumped on me and I bought a G. Loomis CBR 843. I was wondering if anyone has one and what their opinions are. I personally can not wait to use it. M_Fields
  23. yozuri54, Welcome to the forum!! Quote from RW: "I think the "Best Value" in the Shimano line-up is the Stradic. If you want to save some money, buy the current Stradic 2500FH for around $80. However, if it was me, I would step up and buy the new Stradic 2500FI which incorporates some of the features found in the Stella." That is what I would buy. M_Fields
  24. ghost, I use a 6' spinning rod. I would not go any longer, only if I had to. I use a G. Loomis SJR 722 GL3 or IMX fast action medium power. I skip a lot of my stuff weight less, that is why I shy away from using a bait caster. I have seen it done many times, but with using weights. It takes a lot of practice but can be done. M_Fields
  25. I am sending you a PM M_Fields
