I’m looking for what others feel is small and comfortable to them, I’m trying to see if there’s a reel I may not be aware of that I should look into.

Smallest Profile Comfortable Reel
From everyone’s experiences. Which reel do you find to be the smallest profile most comfortable to grip that can handle baits that weigh 1-2oz?

How many baitcast reels below 6.0:1 do you own?
I have a few, all dedicated to cranking Engetsu 101 PG 5:8:1 Bantam PG 5:5:1 Steez Crazy Cranker 5:3:1 Curado 201 PG 5:1 Catalina 4:9:1 SLX 71 that I had 5:5:1 gears dropped in from an Engetsu bb Over the years I found that lefty cranking reels were hard to come by so I would pick one up when I saw they were available.

Exsence B…which one?
I’m looking to pick up an Exsence B spinning reel, I will pair it with the Okuma Bass x 7ft ML, it’s going to be for Ned’s , Neko rigs and other finesse presentations. Not sure if I should go with the 2500 or the C3000. The 2500 is 6.4 with 37 ipt and has a deeper spool, the c3000 is 5.8 with 34 ipt and has a more shallow spool, I’m assuming I will get better torque on the 5.8 and I think the shallow spool still holds enough 10lb braid to not be an issue. For neko rigs am losing out by having 34 ipt vs 37? Right now I’m leaning towards the c3000, but looking to hear opinions on why I should get the 2500 or is the c3000 they way to go. Thanks in advance.

Tatula 80 Issue
I recently picked up at Tatula 80, I spooled it up with 30lb berkley X9 and noticed when I give a moderate amount of force on the cast, the spool makes a screeching sound , If i cast gently the sound isn’t as pronounced. I use the X9 on all my setups, and have not had this problem. What could be causing the screeching sound? And how do I fix it? Thanks in advance.

Zodias B Spinning Question
I’m comparing it to the 7ft light plus to the 7ft ml not the 7’2 ml plus, both rods are extra fast. My buddy has an expride 7ft light and a 6’10 ml and the 7ft light is definitely more stout, wondering if that the case with these two rods. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Shimano_Zodias_B_Spinning_Rods/descpage-SZBS.html

Zodias B Spinning Question
I’m interested in this rod for finesse applications, I’m intrigued with the 7ft light plus and the 7ft medium light, sometimes Shimano ratings are overpowering. Anyone have any experience or info on these two rods they can share. Thanks in advance.

21 ZILLION SV TW 1000PL Gear question
I picked up a jdm ZILLION SV TW 5:5:1 lefty reel from digitaka, the plan is to use it for cranking 1oz deep divers. Since it’s a jdm version, it has aluminum gears, would constantly throwing 1oz deep divers strain or damage the aluminum gears? And does anyone know if a 5:5:1 lefty brass gear set is available as a replacement? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Expride B 7’2 M Casting
For those who use 7’2 Expride B Medium Casting, would you recommend the rod for bottom contact blade baits up to 3/4oz, I have a Zodias 7’2 Medium which I like for bottom contact blades, but I’m looking for something a little more sensitive and I prefer cork handles. I’m reading the rod may be too stiff for trebles, any feedback would be appreciated.

Expride B ML Spinning 6'10 vs 7'2
Hi All, Does anyone have experience handling the 6'10 vs 7'2 Expride B ML spinning rods? I read reviews saying the 7'2 is closer to M action. Looking to see if there are any significant differences between the two rods other than length, I'm leaning towards the 6'10, I am looking to use it for drop shot, neko, ned and other finesse presentations. Any info on the difference between these two rods is appreciated.

7’2 H vs 7’3 XH Expride
I have the 7'3 XH , it can totally work as a frog rod, I use it as my heavy jig rod an love it. I like the 7'3 XH so much I just ordered the 7ft H without handling it based on how impressed I am with the 7'3.
