What is your confidence bait/technique?
Texas rigged plastic mostly a structure bug or rage craw on a Fin-Tech title shot hook. Rigged that way you can do anything with it. Including adding a skirt. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Fin-tech_Title_Shot_Jig_2pk/descpage-FTTSJ.html Jig is a close tie maybe a little more so.

Silicone?
I’ve only had aluminum boats. That may be the difference. They had to initially remount the motor 3 times on my Triton. The only sealant that worked was 5200
-
Silicone?
I use 5200 all the time it’s a adhesive sealant not permanent as people claim. My motor has been remounted several times over the years with JP changes and removal, with no issues. 3M makes an adhesive removal solvent also. I do recommend 3M4200 for most sealing applications but 5200 is definitely more reliable under the water line. ********************************************* To answer the OP’s question for small screws like that; remove the screw put a light coating of sealant on the threads screw it back into the hole The turning on the screw seals the screw head with sealant. Allow at least 48 hours to dry, but 7 days is better. Thru bolts require much more sealant. Put sealant on what your are bolting to transom, under the washer, under the bolt head. Wipe off excess. Let dry for 7 days.

Small, low priced upgrades.
Gauges are cheap but not really going to make the boat look better unless yours are in really bad shape. buffing out the fiberglass is about the best way to make an old boat look newer. There is a definite skill to it. You need someone experienced to show you how. painting the lower unit and coweling really sharpen a boats look also. Most paint is available in spray cans for motors. Light coats. Water sanding. And buffing when the final coat is dry for weeks. Carpet is either expensive to pay to have done or very labor intensive to do yourself but most definitely will make an old boat sparkle the most.

Also favorite worm hooks?
VMC worm hooks work for me. I especially like the closed loop. This for Texas https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/VMC_Ike_Approved_Worm_Hook/descpage-VMCWH.html This for pitching cover https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/VMC_Ike_Approved_Heavy_Duty_Worm_Hook/descpage-VMCHDWH.html This for heavy cover, punching https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/VMC_Ike_Approved_Flippin_Hook/descpage-VMCFH.html also this Berkley hook https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Berkley_Fusion19_Hooks_Heavy_Cover_4pk/descpage-SFHC.html The only time I use an ewg any more is for Texas rigged tubes

How do you shake your rod?
So the question is how do you get your shakey head to shake???????? very carefully in all instances ? Just let the water current give it action and make the bait hop in small movements

Sometimes you just gotta go....
I just let it drag but you can fish it the other way to.
-
Sometimes you just gotta go....
Probably need 2 drift socks to keep bait down. 2) 5 gallon buckets works too.
-
Sometimes you just gotta go....
I always drag a tube or some other plastic at the same time. Nail weights in the ends give the worm some extra action on bumpy water. Definitely need a steady 5-10 mph wind. Above that and the drift socks come out. It’s a good spring and fall cold water technique when the bite is non existent. I’ve really saved some fishing trips just drifting.

Sometimes you just gotta go....
Caught 4 One was 3.6 lbs on Berkeley 1.5 SQ bill caught one on a SK Red eye rattletrap caught one on a tube (missed several bites) caught one on the Ned rig?

Sometimes you just gotta go....
Fishing no matter what the weather forecast. I’ve missed all of April because of either home renovation or weather. Tomorrow I’m going. Light rain, cold. My plan of attack. And I can’t believe I’m saying this. Finnese fishing. Things I’ve rigged up. 1)Ned rig with that ridiculously stretchy little worm thingy. 2)Shaky head with a zoom trick worm. 3)Tube on a 1/8oz jig head 4) A wacky worm on a big bass bobber<don’t laugh it works~drifting large flats.> 5) 3/16oz Texas rigged Structure bug. 6) rattle trap- ok not finesse 7) 1/4 oz spinner bait 8)1.5 square bill I know you will say jerk bait, but I just am not good with it at all. And I have the usual reaction baits ready to go. It’s going to be an interesting day.

AGM vs Wet Cell Starting Battery
AGM mModern electronics draw constant power. You can find AGM’s locally for a deal if you look around. My local farm supply store carries a store brand that is a Duracell with their sticker on it. Half the price that Batteries Plus charges for Duracell.

What screws & bolts for aluminum boats?
Use SS hardware with a silicone sealant, or 3M 5300 on the water exposed side. The corrosive effect of dissimilar metals is a little overblown. It takes years of exposure and neglect before the aluminum corrodes. I’ve always owned aluminum boats and the worst I’ve seen is the screw head breaks off after several years leaving the hole permanently plugged. Any seam that needs to be repaired should be done with solid aluminum rivets.

Craw plastic bait only, no jig
Nope doesn’t work. Don’t even try it. Total jinx. Like a banana in the boat. You’ll never catch another fish again. You were warned.!

Aaron Rogers Traded To Denver?
Well I don’t follow the NFL anymore, but I called this several years ago. The man is impossible to deal with. He goes through woman like toilet paper, has been in a public tiff with his own family, and threw McCarty and the offensive coordinator under the bus. He is the primadonna’s primadonna. You could see it years ago. By the way the 1 Super Bowl “he won” was won by one of the best defensive units the Packers ever had. Ask the Bears.

Tungsten bullet weights
Buy the un painted ones. Put one on a broken spinner bait wire. Put a torch too it till it glows red. Carefully drop it in a bucket of water to cool down. Turns them a charcoal gray/black/slightly dark blue. Do this with plenty of ventilation in the garage. Now you don’t ever have to worry about them banging together and the paint chipping. Because it will. Painted Tungsten is a waste of money. Ask me how I know.

Wisconsin Fishing, 2021
Yes “I’ll have an order of way to windy to launch with a side of, if I do I’m never getting it back on the trailer.” ”Would you like to biggie size your dock scars with that?” ”How about a Tackle Warehouse order of 1000yd flourocarbon line because all of your bait casters are bird nested” ?

New Lund questions...
Cadillacs don’t lean going down the road??? Still think it’s just a matter of learning to drive it. It’s a light boat that will be much more affected by trim angle, wind, and water current.
