Well today was awesome! The sun was shining, it was warm, a nice light breeze and mama said "Honey lets go fishin!" So we had breakfast, prepared and served to me by our youngest daughter, since it was Mothers Day and I cannot even begin to express to you how wonderful that was for a change. We then waited for my oldest daughter to get out of work so she could babysit for a while while her dad and I headed out to the lake for a bit. We started off fishing at my favorite place on the lake, a nice rock ledge that never lets me down and today was no exception. I was throwing a c-rigged eel on a moaner (something else that never lets me down) We had alot of fun and alots of laughs and we really enjoyed a nice warm day with lots of sunshine. I think the highlight of my day was when Matt hooked into my other rod and tossed it in the water. (which was all my fault by the way, for putting it too close to him.) He very quickly informed me of this. Thankfully it came flying up over the top of me and landed in the water directly in front of me. At least he did not smack me with it and I could pick it up right away. It did however land reel end down in the muck so I was not using that rod for the rest of the day. No huge fish today but it was alot of fun and lots of laughs. Caught quite a few few fish but only took pics of a few. Hope you guys had fun too.

Eeliminator and smokin'rooster for me too. Of course I'm pretty fond of the craw and lobster as well.

Fantastic fish. Congrats to you both. I hope all goes well with your uncle too. My uncle who is also my fishing buddy is just starting his treatments for cancer as well so he will not be fishing much either this yr. I will add your uncle to my prayer list.
