Use this method literally every time. Hasn't failed me yet.

anyone have no interest in fishing with sonar, and maybe prefer the 'old wayze?'
Its good to have a lake bottom contour map to get some idea of where fish may be holding, but count me solidly in the sonar crowd. I know "it's called fishing not catching" but I don't get a lot of time on the water with my work schedule so I want to make the best of it. I'd at least like to know I am in potentially productive waters.

Fish Attractants
Megastrike on 100% of soft plastics. Original for bass, Crayfish for Panfish / everything else.

Why do you fish?
Been doing it since I was a kid and I legitimately enjoy it. It gets me out in nature with friends and family, and of course the thrill of the hunt and the allure of the unknown. You never know what you will land next.

Oakley Prizm shallow water lenses
I like my Oakley Flaks. Good glasses, like the Prizm lenses. They repel water exceptionally well and don't fog which saved I disagree a couple times getting caught out in a storm on a boat.

Tackle Warehouse communication issues?
I'm guessing this is why my CC company called and cancelled my card a few months back. Got a phone call that a vendor I used had been hacked. Been ordering on and off for six months and have been happy with their service and shipping times. Latest order I got an email that things may be delayed but their projected arrival is still looking good.

What are you doing to display your favorite (retired) lures?
Usually a fallen tree at the bottom of the lake

Top vs Bottom Drag spinning reels?
Probably why my Shimanos were so cheap

Top vs Bottom Drag spinning reels?
Reading a bit about it, it seems my experience may be colored by the fact I've mostly fought smaller fish with my rear drag reels.

Second Texas rig setup
I run 14# Daiwa J-Fluoro on mine. Works fine. Never felt my line was too thick for a T-Rig

Top vs Bottom Drag spinning reels?
Ive got a pair of the Shimano Sienna 1000 RE's that I love. They got me hooked on rear drags.

Top vs Bottom Drag spinning reels?
Just curious what the membership's thoughts are on bottom drag reels? In most shops I'd say top drag (traditional) spinning reels probably outnumber bottom drags by 10 to 1 or more. I unknowingly bought a bottom drag reel on sale from Midway for my drop shot set up and ended up loving it. It was my most used combo in 2021. Any idea as to why this configuration isn't more popular? I don't lack dexterity by any means but in the few instances I had to adjust my drag a bit with a fish on I preferred the big dial to the spool screw on top. Just my .02, curious about other opinions.

Sweet home Chicago
Glad I got out of Chicago never to return. Shame because I loved what the city used to be, but I will never go back until things change in a big way.

Stinky Balls - What?
Ah, given that I would agree with you then. What's the point if their durability is 0?

Stinky Balls - What?
You can get those for free after 2 hours in the captains chair on a hot muggy day. Joke's aside, it sounds like another way to add scent that doesn't just wash off. Im partial to the megastrike paste, but I like the idea.
