So what all do you guys attach to spinner baits?
I'm a fan of the Spunk Shad. A lot of the time I just raw dog it though.

2024 Minnesota Season Thread
Anybody been on Borden lately? We're in the area for a couple of days for a family get together. The kid and I might try and sneak out early and fish a bit. ETA: The kid wanted to sleep in so I got out solo this morning. Total dinkfest! Caught fish on deep weedlines with wacky worm, swimbait and fluke. Water is 78°

Took the kid out the other day and she got her pb. The only fish we could get to bite were shallow. Could see fish on the graph out on the weedlines but they weren't buying what we were selling.

New 2024 G.Loomis GLX series
I haven't fished one but I've handled one. Very light in the hand. Butt length is good. Maybe a touch heavy in the power for me. The Scheels in Eden Prairie, MN had a couple when I was there a week or two ago.

2024 Minnesota Season Thread
Finally got out after having to work all last weekend. Was just gonna go for 2 hours (and then again today) but ended up staying out 6 hours. Frustrating beginning to the day with two very good fish shaking loose and then a 3 hour struggle to find anything biting. Had all the rods and baits put away and on the way back to the ramp decided to try one more steep weedline. It paid off! Caught 4 fish over 18" with the best being 19.5 and 4.3#. Second fish had this crazy gash. Still swam off strong. Water temp 64F.

Garmin guys…I’m new…Help with mapping
I don't have any gpsmap graphs but I have a couple echomaps and one ultra. IIRC the depth shading only shows up on the fishing chart, not the navigation chart.

St. Croix MOJO Bass 7'4 Heavy opinions/reviews?
I use one for a frog rod. I love it. Launches frogs and I seem to have a higher landing percentage with it compared to other rods I've used.

Loomis GLX 804C for skipping
My current jig skipping rod doesn't have a soft enough tip so I'm thinking of replacing it. Anybody use the GLX 804c for skipping? I'm having a hard time finding any info on this rod. Thanks

2022 MN Season Thread
Went to Wisconsin for a few days with an old fishing partner. We struggled pretty hard only catching a few brown ones a day. Back home now I went shore fishing yesterday and today. Lots of sunnies on beds and the bass are just inside the weed line. They were blowing up on the frog but couldn't pin any. Caught a couple on a chatterbait that I was popping off the bottom.

1/2oz War Eagle bumping off of the grass. Didn't have a scale but was probably a 4.5#
