  11. why? 50/50 for me
  12. nothing i like the wear and tear look on my baits ,they still catch fish
  13. i dont use my spinning reels at all anymore ive got saharas and stradics and now they just collect dust. you can cast light lures with your baitcaster, but just like when learning to use a baitcaster you gotta practice i usually turn my spool tension way low to cast light lures,at first i used to get some wicked backlashes but now im pretty profeciant with it
  14. exactly ive got a couple guys im gettin into bassin and they are always asking me if this and that will work, and i just tell em ahything will work anytime and can possibly catch anything theres no rules in bass fishing. just theories, which are always proven to be untrue
  15. no i just think private ponds are just that private no fishing pressure the fish never see lures so i dont consider it a challenge,.but if someones walking the bank at a public lake or resevoir ,or in a boat finding fish and figuring out fish then i think that is credable.like trolling put the rod in the rod holder and drive the boat, fish on but did it take any effort nope. and im not talking about walleye pros going look for fish and trolling them im just talking about regular fishing and catching some fish all species.
  16. both remarkable yes,, but my feeling on the situation is this if a fish is caught on live bait, trolling or caught out of a pond especially a private pond then i think it has no bragable rights...this is just my oponion im not discrediting anyone i just think those three scenarios take little skill, especially private ponds...im sure i will hear some criticism but its just my oponion so dont anyone take it personal
  17. ive also got a kistler rod about two months old but the hook keeper broke off...im not disapointed and wont bash them as some others will bash...but i need to find a rod tube to send it back to them does the post office haave them..i also emailed them to see if they cover shipping cause lbh said they covered his so ill post a reply when i receive it...oh by the way i love my kistler i call the ts the terribly sexy
  18. it's simple if your tired of certain posts ..dont read them

  20. i love to fish alone, but sometimes it's nice to have someone go and fetch the truck. but the reason i usually fish alone is that i can;t find a decent fishing partner.
