Bill Dance signature lakes in TN
This is awesome! I live near the lakes at Montgomery Bell and they are DECIMATED. The bass in their rarely get over 14 inches (although I have caught big ones in their). These stockings will help because the bass need more bait.

Bass Replica Mount measurements
I'll be sure to do that! I have a pretty well-known taxidermist in my area who has done taxidermy for country music stars and such.

What would you throw in this grass?
I would throw a weightless plastic for sure. Some type of worm or craw or beaver bait.

Soft Plastic Colors
I love black and blue. I can't not have it in my tackle box.

Bass Replica Mount measurements
Thanks for all the comments! I was worried I didn't get enough measurements or photos for it but these posts reassures that I did the right thing.

Bass Replica Mount measurements
Hey guys I caught a really nice bass the other day out of a farm pond. I wanted to mount it, but didn't want to take the fish's life to do so and I decided to get a replica mount. I measured the length and the girth at the widest spot. Is there any other measurements I should've taken? I don't have any experience with taxidermy and I wanted to see if any of you guys had knowledge on this topic. Thanks guys!

It was wacky (to me) fishing a wacky rig today
I haven't used ned rigs in a while but might need to start using them again ecspecially during winter. I personally like to use them in creeks rather than ponds. I actually meant to put this comment on another forum, but I have actually used wacky rigs lately. The other day I caught a 5 on a wacky-rigged 4 inch yum dinger. A wacky rig is one of my favorite techniques no matter what time of year.

10lb 12oz TN pig!
Fishing in the snow is one of my favs. Caught a 5 pound spot a couple years back

How did you do this year?
I have done great this year I caught a 6lber and 71/2 pounder today in a pond that isn't even a quarter of an acre.

Ned rig tubes?
I do this technique all the time with Strike King bitsy tubes in the small creeks and rivers around my house. I wear them out however it seems to be better for numbers and not size

Black&Blue vs Junebug
I personally have a lot better luck with black and blue. Where I fish we have a lot of dirty water and black and blue gives your bait a darker appearance.

Underrated baits?
The jitterbug is my favorite underrated lure. It presents a different action than most other topwater baits and you don't have to sit there and jerk your rod every five seconds (you can just give it a steady retrieve).
- Best Multi-Species Lures?

Swimbaits
I mainly throw 4 inch versions in creeks or small rivers. In lakes I like to throw 5 inch baits. As far as hard-body swimbaits my go to has to be the Mike Bucca Shad. It is a very slow sinker and the hooks are ridiculously sharp.

Favorite Winter Lures This Year ?
The best lures for me in the winter is a 4 inch yum dinger, a storm wild eye swim shad, or a strike king mini king spinnerbait

Elaztech baits?
I personally like to keep them seperated in different compartments within a tackle box according to color. However, if you live somewhere that is humid and you keep them in a shed that is not temperature controlled, they might melt some during the summer months.
