Rivet vs welded is some what of a toss up unless you’re running a jet boat in a river. I would not hesitate to get a lund. @DaubsNU1 I believe that is the member who has it.

The way the electric vehicles accelerate is wild. I don’t feel connected it to it though like I do an ICE. I guess that comes from racing. Not saying teslas are not fast of course they are. I even mention to my wife about getting electric for what she drives daily.

@TnRiver46 well I have a wife. This wife won’t fly and does not enjoy fishing. If I would travel I’d personally like to go to LSC spend a few days musky fishing and a few days bass fishing.

I just tell people if I want it and can afford it I’ll get it. Plain and simple. I’ve been through the days of pinching pennies to do the bare minimum. I thankfully am not there any longer. Having nice things are the reward you get for working hard and making good choices most of the time. Enjoy life. You’ll never know how a steez, zillion, bantam, Metanuim etc feels to you try it.

It’s private. They can do whatever they want. Fraud would be them hiding fish in a barrel or stuffing weight etc.

I just use a regular butt seat by tempress. When I want to lean I turn it around so the backside is facing me.

I was bummed because last year I missed an event. Didn’t realized they were so close in time.

@MediumMouthBass it hasn’t been frozen but, I have not been out since the day before thanksgiving. It has been cold and windy for the most part. Not really worth spending the money to drive there and take the boat out. I was also working an insane amount of overtime. March for me is when the river starts to pick up and I like to start getting out. Right now I just twiddle my thumbs

I have both the premiers you are talking about. I use 10lb braid on both with ultegra 2500s The medium will be your best all around rod. Good for the cranks, jerks and ned rigs. the med lite I use for 1/4 and below ned, shakey, paddle tail stuff like that. it gives me great bottom contact feel. I would get the medium now. In the future I would get the med lite for the applications above to get a little better bottom contact feel. Not needed but, if you ever get both you’d see what I mean. This is why I stick with the same models and brands just different actions. That way I always know what to expect.

@Jigfishn10this will be the reels I would be putting it on. Not really worried about that stuff that I am constantly moving.

So I have been thinking about starting to use hi vis braided line while using ned rigs, shakey heads, tubes etc. I already run a long flouro leader. I was just wondering if these are the correct applications for this or when you run this type of line?
