Chatting with a dude on another site, he said the Shock was the most tip heavy rod he’d ever used. Even with 8oz reel. What do you think?

I’ve picked up 5 new rods this year so I can’t really say which one is my favorite yet. But I can say I’m having the most fun with my ML Phenix Feather and Curado BFS. It just makes you want to giggle every time you cast it. The ALX Deputy and Toadface are awesome too.

Thanks, this is the kind of info I was looking for. Alex said they both are rated down to 3/8 but that is not not counting a trailer so closer to 1/2oz on the bottom end. Is that pretty accurate to your experience?

So the TFO Elite 736 just doesn't do it for me. Does anyone here fish either of these two rods? I've been more than happy with my Toadface & Deputy. I'm quickly becoming an ALX fan.

We didn’t get into any big ones but we had a blast. It was the first time this year my son and I were able to get out together.

My ALX Deputy, Feather ML, more baits & t-shirt just arrived from TW. For some reason UPS is sending my SLX MGL & 2nd t-shirt on a west coast tour. I'm in southern Oregon and it's in Pacific Washington.

This might sound like a fishing story but…. I had one morning at the pond where I caught my PB in 4 casts with a TRD I caught a bass, bluegill, crappie and a trout. It was pretty hilarious ?

I've got the IMX-PRO 853 so I can't comment on the 852. The 853 is a great rod, but the XF tip makes it more suitable for jigs to me. I also have the Toadface. It's turning into my favorite rod. It just really does almost everything good. A great tip with a killer backbone. My first Feather is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. A 7' 1" ML casting. I'll be able to add more about that one after the weekend. I also have a NFC blank Kister Helium, but in LMH. It's a fantastic weightless Senko rod. And it does well with T-Rigs too.

I love em. I actually just put a combo together that's just for neds. The only thing I don't like is with the TRD's I've never got a LM over 3lbs on them. But I've slayed the smallies with them. But I've had more gut hooks with them too.

I can’t help with Falcon but I just ordered my 2nd ALX. I already have a Toadface that does pretty much anything you’d want it to do. I ordered a Deputy from TW yesterday. Hopefully I’ll have it in time for the weekend. It was nice dealing direct with the company owner on my first one.
