  1. You guys are boring. I wanted to read some horror stories related to Temu, and nothing for me to read☹This sux.
  2. It MUST be from Temu😁Aliexpress doesn't count. Do you have any in your 2025 lineup?
  3. Reminds me of those Temu reels😊
  4. Big fan of Studio Composite rods. Just wish they had more models.
  5. The 2020 frame is great. The previous one that came out in 2013 was so bad, tho.
  6. But have you ever tried anything else? If you get used to Temu grade gear, you'll be fine with it because you get used to low end stuff.
  7. The Tat 80 palms better than both, but most importantly, when you have load on your line, the reel feel more solid. More solid as in tighter built/assembled. And no, Shimano is absolutely worth it when we're talking about their higher end stuff (can't stand their micro module, but it is what it is), they're also tightly assembled, and feel great under load. Its just their cheapo/entry level Shimano that i feel like Daiwa is now crushing them.
  8. Why would you get a lefty if you're a righty? But even then, the new tats are far superior to slxs and curados.
  9. I would assume you're looking for something cheap since you're using a noname reel from Ali?
  10. I don't agree. Buy a pixy in used condition, a Ray's Studio spool, and it will crush anything KK, and last for a millennia. There are so many old quality reels that you can get a cheap BFS spool for, and it will perform extremely well and for cheap. There's zero reasons to buy Temu reels just because they're off the shelf. What i'd say to that is that if your budget is under $100, you buy used, and only used. Its not difficult to find a quality Made in Japan reel for sub $100.
  11. KastKing is a Temu-grade brand. Unless you're new into fishing, i personally have no idea why one would waste time on them, Favorite or Googan for that matter. Even Abu is better. Here, i said it😁
  12. You shouldn't be doing ANYTHING out of the box when the reel is new. If you feel like there's an issue, return it, and get another one. Someone who is new to baitcasters shouldn't be greasing the gear set of a d**n new reel 😐
  13. No, but for this spider, i am willing to learn.
  14. I still have nightmares from the first gen Veritas i had. NEVER AGAIN.
  15. Can i pay Daiwa to remove that ugly spider that they put on everything Tat?
  16. For 2025 i want to get a Googan rod AND reel to exprience what its like to taste the bottom of the barrel. Want to do it, but its hard to give em $150.
  17. Don't do it yourself lol. I once tried to do it with spray cans (it was a pixy as well lol) and all i can say is OOOF. Side plates are easy enough to coat, but the frame was a pain, and it chipped so easily. What a mess that pixy was.
  18. Let us know how it is when you get it. But i did see many custom painted reels from Japan, and its never done with cerakote or protected with an automotive 2k clear, so you will often see lots of paint chipping.
  19. Did you grab it on ebay? I believe i saw it on ebay or google images.
  20. Got into fishing using Fenwick, but there's no reason to buy them now.
  21. I had an older gen GLX. And as i said above, i have nothing against their blanks, they're very good, its just that for the price they're being sold, i would expect much more.
  22. Only have experience with the Zodias, and i couldn't stand the two i had.
  23. Stuck inductor will only get you an unusable reel with older, thinner inductors like the Type R tapered inductors and so on. Less of an issue on SV spools because the inductors are thicker and taller, and even while stuck, have enough braking force when fishing at higher adjustements on your mag dial. And those plastic bases on sv spools break so often, Daiwa should just fix em to the spool with epoxy, or something. No reason not to.
  24. Those daiwa handles are so ugly. For $35 you can find a much better, and better looking handle on Ali. But to know if daiwa handles fit on those Chinesium brands, you gotta measure the shaft.
