The latest sale thread
I saw that. Trying real hard not to pull the trigger on an IMX Pro 906CBR.

Shimano's DC patent is expiring very soon. Flood gates on Daiwa DC reels are about to open.
DC is pointless to me and I could care less who sells it.

If you don't fish tournaments, why do you fish for bass?
For pure fun it's hard to beat catching steelhead in the rivers of the great PNW. Watching a 10 to 20 lb fish strip line and dance on top of the water is just magical. I like to challenge myself. Bass fishing and fly fishing trout in streams are the two most challenging ways of fishing I've found, and I dedicate equal amounts of time to both.

High Speed Reels
I fish a fast reel for jigs and jerkbaits. Everything else is 7:1, and I have only one reel in 6:1.

Post a photo a day!
That is straight up sandlot. I love it.

Spinnerbait wire length
I prefer the front of the blades to be even with the front of the head. Is that what you are asking?

Do you know any fishermen who have strict rules they think smallmouth always follow? Take a look at some of my buddy’s, curious what you all think 😆
It's a strict rule. Look it up.

Daiwa is simply smoother than Shimano now
I have a pretty new toyota tundra. But I chose to daily drive a 1971 gmc 4x4 that I have only $900 into because its fun and I enjoy it. I must be insane too.

Daiwa is simply smoother than Shimano now
I am with you @MediumMouthBass. One of my favorite reels I own is an $80 (new in store discount) shimano citica i. Yes it is a cheaper version of the curado i. But it is not nearly that smooth, it feels loose and clunky in the handle and retrieve, especially after a few seasons on it. It is a work horse and I love every second of it. It is like a 50 year old truck. Clunky. But a work horse. @ABU is overpriced You seriously need to chill out, bro. It is a fishing forum. It is fun. And everyone is entitled to like what they like. Stop taking **** so personal.

I still think that went over your head, Bud. 😅- Daiwa is simply smoother than Shimano now

- Effectiveness of baits from year to year
Thats because he should have chose white.- Effectiveness of baits from year to year
White spinnerbait. All day. Everyday. Year after year.- Pre-rig or Ride around first?
I am always pre-rigged with the following: white spinnerbait black/blue jig 3/0 weightless hook I used to "pre-func" in college. Is that still a thing?- Where to fish on vacation?
Hard to beat a road trip to the upper middle northwest for fishing and scenery. But you have to think beyond bass. I'm talking Yellowstone and west to the east side of Washington state. Not really any snow yet either. And the fish are getting fattened up for the winter.- What do you hope to learn this winter?
My goal is to start working on higher vertical drops up skiing. I have the sub 10 footers down. Can't muster the balls yet to just send it on the big stuff.- I have deprioritized hook setting. How about you?
I rarely set a hook with purpose when bass fishing. Either the fish sets themselves or a gentle pull from me.- The Beer Is Brewing, The Trash Is Flying, and The Race For The Pennant Is On!
Let's go Dodgers!- Bass Lures Which Also Work for Trout & Salmon ?
The 6th sense curve 55 works well now too. Much like a wiggle wart.- Bass Lures Which Also Work for Trout & Salmon ?
wiggle warts and inline spinners I caught a steelhead on a dobyn's spinnerbait once. - Daiwa is simply smoother than Shimano now
