  1. "That's what she said" applies to several posts in this thread.
  2. That is a sweet van.
  3. LOL I totally missed that part! I thought he was asking for different games!
  4. No pic, but got a few of the TW exclusive 6th sense baits in bait camp matte pro blue to try out with their sale. Just enough to get me free shipping. Looks like a productive color.
  5. Regarding LMB, sub 50 here for lakes. The SMB and trout and other species thrive in the cold.
  6. Maxima Ultra Green. Its a nylon copolymer, but thats my favorite.
  7. I am pretty careful with my gear as far as transport and storage. That said I have had two rods break in my 40 years of fishing, both on a cast. One was a Loomis crankbait rod (brand new, second cast) and one was an Orvis fly rod (well used). Assuming due to a nick or something in the blanks cause by me. But my rods and reels always have covers on them when not in use.
  8. Hunting Sniper and Major Mayhem 1 (not number two...they ruined that one) Archers Online PVP is really fun too.
  9. I hear you. I have more horns in the shop than I can count. I am ready for the bigguns.
  10. For me 2025 is going to be a year for chasing trophies. Bass, Elk, Deer. I have no problem catching/shooting/hunting any of these species, but I am getting to the point I really want to earn some trophy size critters. It is going to take a lot of hard work and for the stars to align, but I want that at least once in my lifetime for my favorite species I pursue.
  11. Happy Thanksgiving All!
  12. Punching jigs were designed for this.
  13. I love wrenching. Carry on.
  14. I am curious as to why? They make some great baits, they are built nicely, and I have had a lot of success with their products. I do not consider them high end baits, but they are definitely high middle of the road baits.
  15. On my property I have had a few predators over the years, but the yotes are always around. We had a resident cougar for awhile until we got the f&g to trap it and haul it away. There are a few times a year the yotes will get a bit more aggressive. Especially when the rabbit babies start showing up in the spring. Its a fun time to sit on the back porch with a half rack and my old Henry rifle.
  16. If that is going to be your carry/home defense weapon, I would make sure to at least shoot it at night one or two times in the dark as well so you have an idea of what the muzzle flash is going to do. Typically, you really do not want a compensated barrel at night in the dark for this purpose. If someone breaks into your home at night and wakes you up, you are already going to be tired and fumbling around in the dark with your weapon while worried about the threat, and heaven forbid the situation necessitates you discharging your firearm, you may quickly find yourself with dark blindness from the muzzle flash shooting out of the comp. I do not know specifically how bad/good it is with that particular weapon, but I do know it should have two small comp ports on the barrel from pictures I have seen online. Better to be prepared than surprised when you find yourself not being able to see after firing one round in the pitch black because of the fireball shooting out of the comp ports.
  17. black/blue flake above all else
  18. IMX Pro 906C CBR is exactly what you are looking for and is a killer rod. Though it is more expensive, but 20% off until 11/22 at TW. Brings the price down to $312 from $399.
  19. Which is exactly why I no longer own any mets. Yes, they are nicer, but the return on value doesn't warrant the price for me as an angler. I know they can be had cheaper through jdm, and I did enjoy fishing with them.
  20. I have fished A LOT of baitcasters. For price vs product value my perspective is the curado 151 mgl is the real for me. The zillions are nice, don't get me wrong. Just something about the way that 151 fits my hand.
  21. Frog, lipless crank, huge swimbaits, underspins (flashy swimmer) I am very unsuccessful with frogs, though I have had strikes. It's a fisherman issue. I don't fish lipless cranks as I think they are incredibly boring to fish. I just got into large swimbaits. Haven't had enough time on the water with them yet. Have no idea why I have never caught a bass on a flashy swimmer as I catch them all the time with spinnerbaits. And I have put in plenty of time fishing them. Usually with a 4" trailer such as a keitech.
  22. I just usually buy what I want, when I want. Don't typically buy myself anything "special" for Christmas. Though I do buy myself plenty around the holiday sale season. I just bought a $400 knife a couple days ago. Does that count?
  23. I didn't get out much this year compared to previous years due to personal reasons. However, when I did go, I was able to catch fish every outing, and did not lose a single one. Most were 1 to 3 pounds, and had one catch of 6+lbs. Not too bad for only going a few times.
