  1. Jealously....that's all that was..... ;D
  2. Welcome aboard!
  3. X2...the biggest mistake i see people doing is using a too big of a bobber. If it bounces around on top of the water it's too big. I use both pencil style and round....i favor the small round ones more. Use the smallest hooks you can find. Matter of fact the last 3 outings has been bluegill fishing for me and i caught well over 200 bluegills in those 3 outing.Talk about fun!
  4. My grandfather was a sturgeon fisherman.Your story bring back the stories of my grandfather for me.My grandfather loved eating them too.
  5. Well it worked out for you. Hope you guys have fun!
  6. They the smallmouth and largemouth has been unhooking themselves on me.People tell me "oh bass are easy to catch"....i laugh every time i hear that. They get lucky...but they ain't good.I rather be good at bass fishing than lucky. But given a choice i rather hook a smallmouth, you just can't beat the 2-3' jumps in the air.Never had a largemouth jump like that yet. I fish from shore and i have seen both fish drag the lure against rocks and branches to unhook themselves.Talk about a smart maneuver on their part. Largemouth seem to have softer mouths than a smallmouth...so it is a bit easier to lose a largemouth bass than it is to lose a smallmouth.
  7. white/chart. is a good color up here in MI.
  8. Who actually owns the walls of a school? It certainly isn't the principal. I doubt that he'd be able to afford the mortgage on a place that large on an administrators salary. But it is the principal who is tasked with being the steward for those walls. It is his job to run the school, keep lunatics from shooting it up, keep test scores high, keep parents from calling the school board, and stroking egos at the Board of Ed. Admit it, he took actions you felt were unfair, he got you riled up, you posted the 4th amendment to stick it in his face. Granted it is MUCH better than many other avenues you could have taken. The staff should not have helped you out in this. IMO, best way to do this, go to his office, just you and him face to face, and respectfully tell him how you feel. If he ignores you, go to a school board meeting with your parents and as many students as you can muster. They are politicians they HATE having lots of people screaming at them. 9 times out of 10 they will force the principal to some middle ground (provided you can come to some). Putting the 4th amendment up though like that, it forces him to escalate. The "system" does work, you just have to know how to work it. Honestly, your principal has more important things to worry about, If you give him or the school board a way to settle this and move on without locking horns with them, they will take it. Good luck though, and really do not take it too personally, you will be out of there before you know it and everything will change faster than you believe it. Oh how i love reading the things you post M Starr.Every teenager should read this and keep it in mind. That last part is very true and it's all you got to remember kids.
  9. I do that somewhat...I know from the butt of my rod to the hook hanger is 14 1/2".Which is a keeper here....however i got a scale coming in the mail soon.
  10. I'm going to agree with everybody here,go face to face to her. Like fish-fighting-illini said you got too much going on in that letter that can scare a young girl away.Never mention the future to a girl! Biggest mistake every guy does.
  11. Life is unfair sometimes...In this case the crappy kids ruined what you kids might call clean fun.Principle might have gotten a tip from the department and possible passed the word along to you guys.Sometimes fun clean fun can turn dangerous. Hookem,i see where you are coming from, but also look at where they are coming from. There were other options to solve that instead of doing what you did.Coming from a younger guy it just seems like you were coming off to start trouble.Where as maybe you did or maybe you didn't(i don't know your whole intentions)....principle probably thought it was gonna cause an up rise in his school.Which he cannot allow. If i would have did something like that at work i'd been fired...no questions asked. I'd would have found somebody better suited to handle the situation.
  12. fo' shizzle my nizzle.....
  13. I get .10 cents a can, plastic bottle and glass bottles. It adds up fast! I got 3 garbage bags full right now...that's about $10-$12 right now.
  14. Snoop only did country because he wanted in on Willy's stash ;D That actually makes sense...
  15. What time are you going to pick me up on Saturday morning? ;D I will have coffee and sausage biscuits ready. I got lunch covered... ;D
  16. Sorry for your lost You did everything you could to help your dog.It was just his time to go.
  17. Looking forward to seeing some of your catches again.I don't think it'll be too long before we start seeing some monster sturgeons.
  18. Trying to save up this winter for one. Can't make up my mine rather i want to get the E7 or E5 for cranking.More than likely i'm gonna go with the E7 for everything.
  19. Any $150 rod is gonna be a good one. Contact BPS and see what they say.Just be honest and tell them what happened. They might replace it for you.
  20. Bottle..it tastes better.
  21. I didn't say anything bad about your post. :-/ All i said was the dude is amazing for his dance style taking advantage of his body like that and putting it to use in a dance. Maybe you don't see it like that but i do.
  22. This might be one of those post you did where you should have ignored if you didn't have anything good to say. A disappointment? This guy's dance style will earn him a name on television if he plays his cards right. I thought it was pretty dang impressive and amazing.
  23. It's a lot easier to do that with a baitcaster than a spinning rig. I use spinning for light lures as well. Everything else is done on baitcasters now for me.
  24. I go through 3 pairs a year.... Then again i buy the cheap pair now because i can't afford the good ones anymore. My work will only allow 1 pair a year....which sucks. If anybody does what i do and walks on literally sandpaper floors they'd go through shoes like i do.Like stasher1 mentioned the soles go out quickly.
