Trilene big game in 12# or 15# test...depending on what i'm planning to cast. I use trilene XT as well in 14# for jigs and have absolutely no problems with it.

Maybe we've all been bad and they can't find anybody to pick now.

He's telling the truth. When that happens I come prepared with a spare spool and some sharp scissors and a small plastic bag to make sure I don't litter the ground with my mono clippings. ;D Not me....I'll put that reel out of commission for the day.I'm known to carry an extra reel ready to go. However i have a curado 100D and i baby that reel...that reel is probably the smoothest and easiest casting reel for me to work with.If i set the brakes and spool tension just right i don't even need to thumb the spool... ;D

I have to agree with this....Nothing like finding the right lure the fish are biting that day. However mine is also jigs with joe's trailer.

I've been throwing a lot of tubes this year and i've been using 6'8" medium heavy/fast 6'6" medium/fast Depends on how much weight i'm adding to that tube.

I checked that rod(tourney trail) out last weekend i think it was and it was just way to flimsy(soft) for my liking. The fish eagle II that muddy mentioned are great rods. I went for the clarus as well and every single one was sold out as well as all the fish eagle II medium fast rods. I ended up getting the 6'6" st.croix rod in medium/fast...it was all they had.

When i was younger,i would treat my mom dinner and take her out to the movie,zoo or museum.You'd be surprise how well that works too.Many teens don't spend much time with their parents and when i did it that way my mom loved it. Whatever you choose to do your mom will love it because you are being thoughtful to her.Best gift any parent could ask for.

I've been fishing BC for 2 years now and i still can't do without any brakes yet. But like islandbass said...i do it to keep my sanity.....Wouldn't want people out there hear me doing this

Trilene big game in 12# test....i think this line is the most manageable line out there.And if you screw up you got a whole spool of line to go through.The thicker the line the harder it can be to control. Right now i have at least 2 spools of big game in 12# and #15 and sometimes i go through all four spools in a year.Considering the cost i think I'm doing pretty good. My personal favorite line however is trilene XT in 14# test.

Falcon,you ain't kidding....it's like every fish went to another country last month.I'm having trouble finding fish period,bluegills are nowhere to be found this year even. heck all i caught yesterday was a Clam on a H&H spinnerbait....Fought it like it was a fish and so embarrassed when i got it to me...i was like "what the heck!?"

A small gander mountain bag with 4 3600 boxes,1 spinning set-up and 1 baitcasting setup and finally a worm binder for my plastics. Sometimes i'll bring an extra baitcasting set-up for cranks and jerkbaits if i plan to throw them that day.

Actually,i think you'd disagree when a team beats another team you favor and they throw that little "mock" celebration in the other teams face.It has something to do with called "respect and common curiosity". Rather it may have been a little "extreme" to call it....rules are rules. I grew up in some rough schools where people got shot over these things. Sorry for those who don't like 'excessive celebration' flag....it's there for a good reason. Washington should have made that kick regardless from the 3 yard or 18 yard.They screwed up and now they crying about it...boo-hoo.

Does anybody suffer or have this syndrome? Lately I've been feeling a lot of pain in both wrist(more in the right one than left) and it seems to be getting worst. Doctor visit is coming soon,however i just want to know what to expect will happen? My girl tells me to just buy a wrist brace.

You didn't do anything wrong....i don't think i would have did anything differently than you did either. I take a guy out with me who's recovering from cancer and he's in the same slump...he always tells me "It don't bother me i just love being outdoors." That's the kind of guy i like bringing to the lake with me to fish and just have a good old time catching or not.

I cut 1/4 of an inch off mine basically in half up to the point of the hook...works wonders in better hook sets.It's lighter and has a slightly slower fall.
