  1. I had a Tica Tactica HJ series baitcasting reel.....Worst reel i ever held in my life. That thing just felt and casted like garbage for me.
  2. I'm trying to cook chili right now.....Man am i failing horribly at it. I need some recipes badly.
  3. That sucks. I'd be mad too! Good luck and raise hell.
  4. and he was such a nice guy on that Family guy episode. Truly though, for the superstars it is about more than music. It is also a big part, the show. I mean it they dressed up business casual, sat on a stool and sang their songs, well, who would go to see them? He is a master at crafting his image to his music and selling the package. Personally, I do not care for most of his music, but everyone has different tastes and I won't knock anyone for theirs. Oh i know. The soundtrack he did for that one movie i mention was pretty good.Very catchy tune. I was stuck in the Insane clown posse music for some time....I can't say too much.... ;D Just not my style of music anymore.
  5. Good to see you alive and kicking. Must be cool for those soldiers to have a Sergeant like you who doesn't mind fishing with them.
  6. I don't know about good values....because it doesn't show in his songs. If you ever been to his concert they are even worst.... However don't under estimate this guys intelligent. He almost needs to be because of some of those songs he sings about.Even his actions in concerts can get him into some serious trouble. If anybody has watched that movie "Nightmare before Christmas" He did "This is Halloween" song.
  7. I hope I don't get you for BR's Secret Santa this year.... : lol.......
  8. Congratulations flechero! Way to go on landing another career job.
  9. welcome aboard. Don't be afraid to read those tips on the main site.Lots of good information.
  10. welcome aboard.
  11. This would be an awesome gag joke to send to another fisherman. Good find!
  12. Here's one important thing though..you stop tipping those drivers, they won't deliver to you anymore. Those guys depend on their tips to fill those gas tanks. I remember a pizza place in Texas that used to deliver.Their delivery guys were complaining they weren't getting tipped(or paid enough)...and quit. They just ended up canceling the entire delivery thing out.The only way you can get food now is go get it yourself.A few other places come to mind...they won't even deliver to that certain area, but yet deliver to the few blocks over.Believe me that sucked....I couldn't get delivery because of it.I asked the manger and that was the answer he gave me. Our delivery orders are usually around $20(or a little under)....We always pay $25 even.Just like tonight,we ordered pizza...$18.99..we paid $25 even.It was cold, neither of us wanted to go out and fight the Saturday traffic...and i usually feel for the people who got to work the weekends. So when he asked,I said you are all good to go,keep the change. In return we get awesome speedy deliveries here.
  13. I have very little luck on gulp as well....I don't use them anymore. Berkley Powerbaits on the other hands, are awesome.
  14. Common fear for a parent. It's part of life..... IMO.
  15. He shoulda put that sign up sooner. The owner sounds like a turd hole. Lots of those in the gun business. He kinda was.He seemed real temperamental when i was there. Haven't been there in a few years now,so i don't know if the place is still there anymore.Never did buy anything from that place.
  16. Lately mine had been.... bread,peanut butter & a cheese slice.With a large glass of COLD 2% milk. :-?
  17. I watched a guy get thrown out of a gun store for dry firing a gun.A week later the owner had a sign up saying "No dry firing my guns, unless you already paid for it". Somebody told me you can mess you the firing pin.Not sure how true that is.
  18. Here's another one....
  19. Trilene XT in 14# test. That's my preference for baitcasters.
  20. I absolutely love mine. That thing is a work horse. I want to get another one.... ;D
  21. X2! I just want to watch Jerry Jones cry....Even the Cowboy fans hate him....
  22. I've been after the 7'6 heavy for 2 years now....I just can't fit swimbaits in my budget. I believe it was fourbizz who recommended these rods to me.
  23. For Flipping- Peel off 50% of line from the length of your rod.Grab the line between the reel and the first line guide.Make a pendulum swing toward you then back out gently releasing the line you are holding. The idea is trying to keep that lure low and visually no splash as you are basically guiding your lure to a certain spot. The thumb bar never gets touch. The only line that should be getting release is the extra 50% you pulled out and was holding onto as you make that cast. I don't know how much of this makes sense, because i can't find a video explaining this. Pitching is harder. It requires an underhand cast and line does get release from reel.Start short and gradually gain distant as you pitch the bait.I still use spinning reels for this...a bit easier on spinning reels.Haven't mastered this on the baitcaster yet either.
  24. Now that looks like an awesome trip!
