  1. so do all my local wal-marts
  2. Well I went back to my summer pattern and it really payed off. Here's the first that weighed 4lb 1oz and the second weighed in at a hefty 5lb 13oz. Here's 2 pics And as it's been all summer, jigs are my friend. My buddy has video of the fish too. I'l try and post it once I get it from him
  3. I like the idea of listing what you put in and what you take. But i don't think we should list everything in the package. Otherwise there is no real surprise in what we're getting. Of course it's not my lure pass. But it's just a suggestion to make it more interesting
  4. I've had the same problem that last to trips out to Pain. I feel like I should be fishing a fall bite but is just doesn't seem to be there yet.
  5. I didn't really have any goals around fishing a certian type of bait. It was more about gaining confidence in when to use which type of bait based on conditions and seasons. I've learned to stick what I know will work based on what the conditions dictate and in doing so have had my best year of fishing yet. My only real goal for next year is to to broaden this knowledge and especially when fishing deeper water
  6. I love that show. I'll be so sad to see it gone :'(
  7. The piece on my reel that the line comes out of on the STX is a metal circle inside a plastic piece. I think it's called the line guide? Can i simply glue this back in with superglue. Sorry if my description isn't that clear. Thanks
  8. I love to fish jigs in thick brush and trees. I find i get hung up alot less with a jig then with a regular t-rigged craw or similiar plastic. However, no matter how careful you are your still going to get hung up. The only thing I can say is make sure your pulling the jig up slow over limbs and sticks. Most of the time I can slide a jig out of a tight spot if I take it nice and easy. But in the end losing jigs is just the cost of doing business with the fish
  9. awesome. Those look great! Eddie does great work. I have 2 of his rods and would not hesitate to buy more in he future.
  10. Welcome to the forum NHbassfishing. You'll find alot of great guys on this site. I head out often during the week and sometimes have an open seat. If you get a thursday or friday free let me know. If you haven't done so already pick up Clarks fishing guide for NH. It's the best way to find good water in the state.
  11. Can't wait to get the box. I'm already planning what I want to put in it for replacements. I'm glad I made the "cut" and think it was a good idea to start small with 10 people to try it out, and just see what happens. Clark Stewert..can you resend me that PM with the map. I went and cleaned out my inbox and accidentally deleted it.
  12. I figured it was hype. I just can't believe their advertising that it will eliminate backlashes. I wonder how many people will fall for this, buy it, and then return it when they still need to control it like a regular BC reel.
  13. According to Bassmaster.com the new Quantum KVD Tour reel will have a self-adjusting cast control. What does this even mean? and how could it possibly work? I checked out quantum's web page and couldn't find any more info. Here's the link. http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmaster/news/story?page=b_spotlight_productshowcase It's the second product down
  14. This is an awesome quote. We're grown men explaining the difference in smiley smiles ;D (That's a happy, i think this is funny, and am not insulting anyone kind of smiley.) well they are different for a reason: they are meant to aid in the discernment of tone through a textual medium
  15. quote] for future reference a rolling eyes smiley carries a different meaning than a grinning smiley
  16. Congrats on the boat Matt. I saw it on the other thread. It looks like a great project. Had a great time on the water today. According to those pics not only can I catch fish. I can catch them while levitating sideways....man i'm good ;D
  17. You could always just do something creative as well. I made these trophies out of some broken reels and lures I had laying around for a local tourney.
  18. Burley, this is the best post you have ever put up. I was going to list the funniest ones but there were just to d**n many
  19. Great Fish Jay!! You've really been slaying them this year. What kind of jig-head are you fishing around the boulders? is it an exposed head or are you fishing a football head with a weedguard? UNHbass...congrats on the New PB It's been a heck of a year for for NH fisherman this year
  20. Got out today on Hopkington Lake. Basically just pitching jigs and compact tubes all day. My buddy got Skunked and I only caught three but one was a nice 4lb 1oz fish. Hey Pain let me know if you want to get together for a trip out sometime. If your boats running that's cool. But your always welcome on mine also. Here's a pic of the fish.
  21. I've got the both the Curado and the Zillion. Both are beautiful reels. But the Curado is the best bang for the buck.
  22. If your just starting out here are a few things I would look into. First off i'd keep the website www.investopedia.com handy. It's gives a great overview of all types of trading. I'd also look into a couple of those yellow "for Dummies" books. There's Investing for Dummies, Investing Online for Dummies and i know there is a stock trading one specifically but I can't remember it. (Just to be clear I'm not calling you a dummy, it's just the name of the books). They really help to break down complex topics and get a grasp on the overall picture. Hope this helps to start
  23.
