  1. Got out yesterday for the first time this year. Pouring rain, the water was 40 degrees, and I only got one bite on a lipless crank. Still great to get out on the water though.
  2. no, its only a 2.5 but it will wheelie down the whole st. im fixing it for a friend at work who just got into nitro. this thing is way too fast for a monster truck!!! im probably going to give it back before i break it since i cart wheeled it halfway down my st yesterday. anyway, i shore fished mill pond and flints in hollis this week from the shore without any luck. im probably going to take my boat out this weekend. That's funny. I just got into RC's this winter so I'd have something to do. I like electric cause it's easier for me to maintain. Got myself a Traxxas stampede and slash. They really are alot of fun. Back to the fishing though. I'm getting all my rods set up, and going to work on the boat this week, add the trailerhitch to the new vehicle. Should be back on the water soon.
  3. I agree. Scales don't lie. well mine does, but that's only because i put a sticker over the readout that says 12lbs 7oz. You'd be amazed at the number of fish I caught this year over 10lbs ;D
  4. nope, 2 different lakes, during two different seasons, on 2 different baits. One midday, and the other was at midnight. The only thing in common was the weight. Seems like most everyone had a good year, there are alot of huge weights being put up
  5. Largest this years was 7lbs 1oz. Largest last year was exactly 7lbs 1oz. I sense a pattern here :-?
  6. Cool. Shane J, let us know if there is anything that we should check out. Matt, I'm going to be there around 11am. Hopefully I'll see you there
  7. http://www.rockinghamexpo.com/ Anyone going? I have to work sat, but am going to be there on Sunday.
  8. Oh we can beat that. I haven't been posting much lately but may need to up the numbers. As far as fishing goes. Not much to say. Boats put away, rods are on the wall, and I hate the cold and ice
  9. playing lazer tag on ATV's and Go-carts. Snowboarding while being pulled behind a pickup Shooting an arrow straight up in the air, Fireworks, fell off the roof putting up Christmas lights, man, there are so many dumb things I've done. But those are all that I can think of right now
  10. This movie was fantastic. Although I'm a little uncomfrotable with the fact that I found the blue cat woman weirdly attractive :-/ ;D
  11. I'd talk to him. A good friend will listen to you. You probably won't change his mind. It's also not your job to change his mind. But if you think a friend is in trouble in anyway I think you have an obligation to tell them. At the very least you can walk away with a clear conscience.
  12. Here's the tracking number 0308 2690 0000 6906 7914 Thanks guys

  14. The box came in yesterday. I wasn't able to even look at this morning due to work. Looks like there is some interesting stuff in here. I'm going to be working long days Today and tomorrow so I'm not sure if I'll get to it till Sunday. But I will have it out by Sunday at the latest. Thanks Chrome
  15. Basically the first guy just packs up a box of baits and ships it out to the first guy on the list. He takes what he wants and adds other baits and passes it on. Eventually it gets back to the original guy and he's go a whole new box of baits to try.
  16. Well. I'm done for the year guys. Pulled the boat out yesterday and am going to winterize it this coming week. I know I could get a few more days out on the water, but things have been getting real busy and I've had such a good year that I think I'm gonna just call it quits. You'll still see me around the boards. It will just be a little less often then usual
  17. Well thanks for starting this again fishn hard. I was gonna start it up again but have just been to busy to get things organized. Thanks for keeping this going, and I've sent you a PM about getting in on this one too. Clark i sent you a PM as well
  18. I don't believe this is the situation. It's not an issue of him having the box for a long time. People get busy, everyone understands that. It's the multiple times that there have been delays with sketchy explanations. Maybe he was sick. Maybe he was gone on a fishing trip. Maybe the box did get returned to him. Maybe he did mail it back out again. That just seems like a whole bunch of coincidences. Especially when he could clear all of this up just by posting a tracking number, as he stated he would. That's what kind of seals the deal for me. The lack of tracking number just really doesn't make sense. Like I said I could be wrong, and I'm giving it another week for the box to get to me. If Junior wants to keep the box, fine. If Junior wants to simply clear this up, even better. But the whole point of this thing was to have some fun, I don't see a reason to let it end like this.
  19. F($% this. I don't think we should let one person wreck this. It was going strong and everyone seemed to be enjoying it. I believe I'm supposed to be next in line. I'll give Junior another week to get this straightened out. If I don't recieve anything I'll just pack up another box and send it to the next guy in line. Once it gets back to Clark he can send it to me, and then we can just end it that way. Let me know if that makes sense to everyone involved
  20. I've also noticed this sometimes which I think is funny. When a team wins it's "WE WIN" When a team loses it's " The (insert team name) lost" The "WE" seems to apply more often on the winning side of things ;D
  21. I've pretty much given up on this. There is always one person who seems to wreck if for everyone else. :-/ If Junior ever ships it, or gives us a straight answer, great. But I really doubt that it's going to happen.
  22. I agree - mostly. The above mentioned presentations work well as stated, as well as others. However it is indeed rare (even at night) when you can't catch something on plastics. The other presentations are just more efficient, during those times. That was the point I was trying to make. Sure you can find a way to fish plastics in almost any condition, and they make work to a degree, but are not always the best choice. Personally I have caught less then 10% of my bass in the last 1 and 1/2 months on plastics. I've been out on very windy days and the fish were more interested in reaction bites. Yes, I can find a way to fish plastics if I really want, by why not just go with what is catching me fish which right now are slamming spinnerbaits and cranks. Don't get me wrong. I love my Trick sticks and Paca craws, but if your only fishing plastics there will be times your are missing out on a better bite
  23. There are plenty of times that soft plastics either won't work or won't work as well as other baits. It all depends on conditions and confidence. Just a couple examples that work for me: Spring and fall, on real windy days, spinnerbaits, rattle traps and other reaction baits work real well. Night time summer fishing. Many times I'll have more luck on big spinnerbaits or topwater Mornings or evenings, Topwater baits There are plenty of other great examples, like deep cranking, frogging in the slop, etc.
  24. Man, you just made my day! I've been waiting forever for this to come out. Last I had heard that had stopped filming and weren't going to finish it.
  25. Actually not that good right now Pain. I've been home sick all week, finally am able to get into the doctor today. I'm pretty sure I won't be well enough to fish this weekend at all. I've got one hell of a cold, that's for sure. Hope you can hook some. Chuck
