  1. Anyone ever fish Poole Pond in Ringe? Can't find any information about this little lake anywhere. Thanks for any help
  2. When I went out last week the water was pretty stained, but I did see one bed in about 4 foot of water. No fish on it though
  3. A friend of mine pulled out a 4lb smallie from the Merrimack shore fishing last week. Personally I've never had much luck on that river
  4. Nice FIsh!! I got out yesterday and did pretty well. a four pouner, a 3bler and a couple decent 1-1.5lb LM's Also hooked a few pickeral and one pretty big one. My poor dad lost a monster at the side of the boat, saw him come right up to the edge and as I was about to net him the line broke. The fish was a solid 5, and that's being conservative. Everything was on senko's nothing else would work. Hope everyone else is having good luck
  5. Nice fish! Really football shaped
  6. I don't know who makes them but take a careful look at the rods before you buy them. They had a bunch of 7'6" flipping sticks that were priced right and went to pick one up as a back up. Every single rod on the rack had a cracked or broken guide somewhere on it. Now it could have been a dropped shipment or something else particular to this store. Just make sure you take a close look before purchasing.
  7. Good to hear that it wasn't to bad. Replied to the PM as well
  8. What's wrong with the boat Pain?
  9. My son Jonah is 1 year and 10 months old. He can't cast or fish with me yet but i still bought him a little push button rod. I tied a crankbait to the end (with the hooks removed) and he carries it with him all the time. When I go fishing from shore he comes along and pretends to cast and slaps the water with it. It' really funny because he will point to my fishing rods on the wall and say "dad fish", point to his rod and say "Jo fish" then point to his mom and say "mom no fish". ;D There never to young to get interested in fishing even if they aren't ready spend the day in the boat with you yet.
  10. I have one, but only use it for big fish. I use the rubber kind. It's just easier.
  11. Nice Job Jay. You should have kept the perch. Perch are real tasty. 2 pounds is huge for a perch. I got out and shore fished for an hour and caught a few. The blackflies put an end to my trip. I just couldn't take them and went home. Just another reason I love to fish from a boat instead of shore.
  12. I use them with a jig head, just like a normal jig and pic.
  13. No problem man, no one is PO'd.
  14. It's tough, we are right on the line between southern NH and central NH. And it's hard watching the "A Shoutout to all NH fisherman" thread starting to lose steam after three seasons fishing. That's why I post in that thread most of the time. I agree Jay. The Shoutout to all NH fisherman has been one of the longest threads on this forum. I say we keep that running and post most stuff in there. It's not as if there are so many NH guys on the board anyway that we need to seperate southern and northern NH. Most of us are in the south half anyway.
  15. Congrats!!!
  16. Well done!! Looks like Southern NH has been doing pretty well this year. That's at least 5 fish over 5 pounds we've seen in these posts
  17. 6 rods usually. St croix and Shimano, and quantum rods
  18. I agree that it's expensive but at least it lets you design one shirt at a time if you don't have to print a run of them. I had a friend make up some tee-shirts before and give them as gifts. The quality seemed fine to me. Again this wouldn't be a good idea for a bassresource store. But if someone has a design they like and want it on a shirt, it's an easy way to do it. Hey LBH, do you know of a better sight that makes this stuff where you don't have to order a whole bunch?
  19. I know what you mean Baboosic, my semester is ending too. I can't wait for school to be over. I caught the big fish on Jigs
  20. Try using Cafepress.com You can open your own little store and design whatever you want and then just buy a shirt from yourself. It's a little more expenseive but you can buy one shirt at a time. You can make a whole bunch of stuff on there, from t-shirts to coffee mugs.
  21. I've caught pickeral and bass out of the same weed patch. It really depends on the cover and structure. Pickeral will inhabit areas that are really shallow and muddy. Most of the time I won't find any bass in those areas. Finally got out on the water and man what a day. Caught one that was little under 5lbs and a monster at 6lbs 13oz. My second largest ever. My poor Dad got skunked but at least he gets to hold my fish in the pics
  22. Wow, sounds like a great day Pain. I finally got out and caught 7 yesterday. All small fish. Felt good to finally get out though
  23. Finally got a chance to do some real fishing. Only went out for an hour at a small private pond. I did manage to get 7 dinks. All tiny bass but if felt great to feel something on the end of the line. tight lines
  24. I'm addicted to this game. I know it's dumb but can't stop playing. Always looking to grow my mafia
