  1. And don't just double space. instead space at 2.2
  2. Yeah, it was a heck of a storm. I lost power last night and still don't have it back. (I'm at work now and we are running on generators). The upside is that the woods look beatiful. Everything is covered in glowing ice as the sun reflects off of it. It's really looks like another world. I only hope that we get some electricty before tonight. From what I understand over half of PSNH ( the largest electric company up here) is out of power right now. That's somewhere around 250,000 customers
  3. Nice lookin dog, congrats
  4. Thanks guys. I'm hoping to have another one made by Eddie next year as well. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a custom build
  5. Wish I could help. I've put away the gear for the season as well. Fish slow, and try deadsticking jigs off of main points.
  6. Great Job Jay. I think I'm done for the year as well. Too much going on to get out on the water right now. Keep up the good work and making us NH guys proud. As an idea for next season we should really plan a NH get together day. Not really a tournament just a full day of fishing at a small lake somewhere. If people are interested in it, I'll plan it for next spring sometime. -Chuck
  7. One of our members here, ejtaylor882, Just made me new Spinnerbait rod. It's for my lighter spinnerbaits. Build on a ST Croix blank. He designed it to match my Zillion reel. It look beautiful. I took it out for a test run yesterday and I couldn't have asked for more in a rod. Thanks Eddie.
  8. $2.19 in manchester nh
  9. I know how to winterize my motor. I'm just curious about why I do certain things before winter instead of just waiting till next spring before taking the boat out. Fogging and stabilizing makes sense to me, but is there a reason to change out the lower unit fluid before winter instead of just doing it in the spring? The same goes for the motor oil. Thanks for helping to satisfy my curiosity. -Chuck
  10. What's a fishing license? I throw mine out as well. Although I wish I'd kept my first one -Chuck
  11. Fishing tournaments made me a worse angler. I was to "new" to bass fishing and didn't have the basics down. I'd fish a tournament and not understand why we were fishing were we were, or what bait to use. Because I was in someones boat I went where they went. If I didn't have the technique to fish deep and they wanted to fish deep, then I was left with no confidence and didn't know what to do. Being a beginner I had a couple of techniques I was confident in and could fish those very well and usually catch a few bass....as long as I could fish were I wanted. I am in no way an expert now but fishing tourneys today I think would be benefit me. I have a much better understanding of location and structure. I have developed and am comfortable with different techniques for many different situations. However as Catt said learning the basics is the only thing that will make you a better angler. Tourney's alone do not make you better...I'm living proof. As an aside, i really enjoyed my limited time tourney fishing and had fun doing it. However it was not nearly as productive a learning experiance as my fishing since leaving tourney's has been.
  12. Fish slow? Not much help I know. Good luck on the water
  13. Man...i've been trying so hard to stay out of the swimbait craze. I just can't afford it. But now I'm screwed. I must have one of these. Any idea on cost yet?
  14. Thanks for posting this. I have considered their glasses in the past. However with customer service like that I will probably go with someone else
  15. x2 My biggest LM was over 7lbs and came out a small pond. My biggest Smallie came out of a pond less then 100 acres. I mostly fish smaller waters but the big fish are in them just like in the bigger lakes
  16. Awesome boat. I really like the layout
  17. i like the Okeechobee Fats bags as well. good price for a tackle bag. I've got the large green one and the smaller blue one. I use one for all my hard baits, spinnerbaits, jigs and such, and the smaller one holds my plastics which i bag according to type. When i'm fishing from shore i just use the little one and put what i need for the day in it
  18. I was saying that a 1911 wasn't automatic. I was stating that if full auto's were the same as a semi-auto then we might as well give our soldiers only 1911's (not full auto) instead of M4's and other full autos. Better yet let's just give them all muzzleloaders. A gun is just a gun after all. I did leave a coma out of my orignal post so I can see why you read it wrong. My mistake. If guns are all the same then I guess having a single shot 22 cal in my house is as good a home defense weapon as 45. cal semi-auto. If somone had told me this before I would have bought a cheaper gun and saved myself some money :
  19. There is no difference between a Remington 700, Winchester 70, Ruger M77, Ithaca 37, Colt 1911 or an Uzi.
  20. Yup there are 2 different capicorns out there. The Dick's orange one and the other normal one. The Dick's isn't as good but also isn't as expensive. I own 3 of the Dick's reels thanks to a mis-price at my local store. I like them alot and think they are good reels for the money if you can get them on sale. By sale I mean something lower then the "sale" they always seem to have on them for $70. I've fished these reels very hard and never had any problems with them. I think they are a good bang for the buck and have never been disappointed in the Diawa reels I own
  21. I go out 1 or 2 times per week. I fish everyday that I can. I wish there were more free days in the week

I get pneumonia... I'm only 26 but last winter I came down with what the doc said was the flue, and while I was weakened and sick I got pneumonia. It kept me out of work for over a month. Not a good time
  23. greens, browns and black/blue jigs are my favorites. My choice depends on water color more then anything else. I think action and trailer type are the 2 most important things.
  24. second one
  25. another vote for fishswami.com I keep track of everything on the boat and then record it into fishswami once i get home. It makes keeping track of information very easy and productive
