  2. -Congrats Nothing is better then a new potbelly
  3. senko's, t-rigged worms, topwater, jigs, and spinnerbaits are the best performers for me right now. hope this helps -Chuck
  4. baboosic, congrats on the boat. It's going to make fishing even more addicting I've only been able to go out before work for the last week or so and do some float tubing. been having pretty consistant catch rates, 8-10 bass in 2-3 hours. Not to much size at the place i've been at. alot of fish in the 1 pound range. Although I did pull in a nice 3 1/2 pounder on topwater and then a giant pickeral right after that. Not a bad morning at all. Hope everyone else is having fun on the water -Chuck
  5. i use this bag all of the time. it's in my opinion the best deal in large storage bags. If i'm heading out to shore fish i'll bring something smaller, but in my john boat this bag fits nicely and has enough room for everything i need
  6. this is the best offshore structure and fishing information I have ever read. It is so helpful to have someone actually explain and break down the terminology. I am sick of reading articles where I'm told to fish a ridge, but no one has described what they mean by ridge and how exactly they would fish it. -Thanks Catt for this great post Chuck
  7. as said, KVD's video's. You can get them as a 3pack from BPS for the same price as buying on idividually. $9.95 i think last time i checked.

i've seen American Flags in stores that have the Made in China tag on them. Now to me, that's irony
  9. you guys should check out some of the airsoft stuff out there. And no i'm not talking about the walmart crap, but the real deal. www.redwolfairsoft.com I've played in events that lasted for 2 days straight including raids on your camp at night. It was like paintball only with more realistic feeling and acting weapons, and cheaper then the price of paint and air.

  11. Like cpvenom i have done the door tape prank. Only i use clear packaging tape. Me and my dad did it one aprils fool morning to all of the doors for my brothers and sisters, and then sent of the fire alarm at 4am. nothing is funnier then seeing my 4 siblings stubbling half asleep through clear packaging tape and then getting all wrapped up on the floor. ;D
  12. When I first got my boat I went in search of lakes that had easy ramps on small ponds, even better if the fishing isn't that great. It's nice to haev your first few times launching and loading without anyone else around. There is no pressure and you can take the time you need to do it right.
  13. probably around $50 a month on average. It's hard to say though. I've had months where I spent $300 on gear, and then months when I haven't spent a dollar. It probably averages to around $50 overall I think
  14. i've been looking for this DVD as well and can not find it. Hopefully someone on here will be able to help us out
  15. now that's out of the way, I drove eclipses for years and there great alittle costly on insurance but very reliable, and if I wouldn't beat the heck out of everything they would last
  16. x2 Proud to be an elitest Yankee ;D
  17. They do, I really never target them, but I think I will next time I'm out on that pond.
  18. Nope never fished up at loon. I went out yesterday morning to a small lake that you have to hike to and got some float tubing in. Nothing is as relaxing as being in the middle of nowhere in a float tube. It's like a lazyboy recliner for fishing. The only problem was that i tried to go to shore to take a leak and i decided that the best place to beach was in near quicksand. I had myself stuck for 10 minutes trying to pull my legs and flippers out of the silt. Man i was glad that no one else saw me. I looked ridiculous oh and i caught some fish to, including a 1 lb bluegill, what a monster i actually caught it on a creature bait. Turns out that the place i was fishing has held the record at one point for states largest bluegill. hope everyone else is getting out on the water
  19. Wow that really is amazing. i'm hoping the mojo comes my way sometime as well, of course I'm no KVD
  20. VW seems to have alot of wiring and electrical issues from my experience
  21. I get home from work at midnight after a 10 to 14 hour day. So getting up at 4am is a bit hard for me. Early morning is usually a special occasion I do a few times a year. Like this morning i got up at 5:30 to go float tubing at an untouched pond that I have to hike to. Not something I do on a regular basis, otherwise i'd never sleep
  22. I knew a guy who once told me that he would hide up in a tree and jump down on the deer with 2 hunting knives and kill it :......he's a lying SOB as well

yamamoto creature as well. I've done pretty good on that one. I can never seem to get a bite on the brush hog, it just doesn't seem to have much action to me
  24. Dude, i did the same exact thing this morning. Weather report said only rain, no thundershowers. I loaded everything up, drove to the ramp, and was just starting to back my trailer up and *CRACK* there's the lightning. The horrible part was 20 minutes after I got home it stopped.

i use them as a replacement for a spinnerbait when it seems like the fish want something a little more subtle. They have produced fairly well for me
